ACET Study Material 2019 - Candidates for the Actuarial Common Entrance Test have a wide range of ACET 2019 study material which they could access to thoroughly prepare for this national-level examination. ACET Exam 2019 for September session will be conducted by Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) on September 14. The syllabus for exam as released by IAI may seem daunting for aspirants but can be easily covered with the right selection of ACET study material 2019. This includes a number of reference books which have been listed by IAI, official sample papers and past year ACET question papers. Candidates are recommended to thoroughly go through the ACET syllabus 2019 and exam pattern prior to preparation in order to understand the crucial topics and questions which may appear in the exam.


ACET Exam Pattern 2019

The ACET 2019 exam pattern comprised two sections which consist a total of five topics for questions. Accordingly, the ACET syllabus 2019 is divided into five categories to accommodate the different types of topics covered in the questions. The exam enlisted a total of 70 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) which award a maximum of 100 marks and is of 3 hour duration. In the ACET exam pattern 2019, Section I comprised questions on the topics mathematics, statistics and data interpretation. This section holds an overall weightage of 55% or 55 marks consisting of 1,2 and 3 mark questions. Section II comprises questions on the topics English and logical reasoning with an overall weightage of 45% or 45 marks with 1, 2 and 3 mark questions.


ACET 2019 Study Material

The ACET study material 2019 available for candidates includes sample papers, past year question papers, and a number of reference books which cover the ACET 2019 syllabus as listed by Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI).

  • The ACET sample paper 2019 is available to candidates through their official IAI login ID after ACET registration. This sample paper is useful for preparation as it mimics the type of questions which will appear in ACET 2019 and gives the candidate an approximation of what type of questions he or she will face on the date of the examination. Additionally, candidates are also able to download the answer key for the sample paper and therefore calculate their score for the ACET sample paper 2019.

  • Past year question papers for ACET 2019 can be downloaded by the candidates and used for practice material. As the exam pattern and syllabus have both changed for ACET since 2016, the past year ACET question papers from 2016 onwards are available for candidates. The past years’ question papers are an important source of ACET study material 2019 as they provide the candidate with insight into the type and the difficulty level of questions as well as the marking scheme for ACET 2019. Along with the ACET question papers, IAI has released the answer keys in order for the candidates to check how they would have scored on past ACET sessions.
