Overview of CS Executive Exam Pattern
As per the official website of IAI, the CS Executive 2023 exam will be conducted in offline centre based only. There are two modules in CS Executive exam; Each divided into 8 papers as per the new CS Executive syllabus.

Major Update on CS Executive Exam Pattern
From June 2022 session onwards, CS Executive examination will be conducted under New Syllabus (i.e. 2017) only. Candidates who are registered under the Old Syllabus (2012) are compulsorily required to switch over to CS Executive New Syllabus.
Exam Pattern of CS Executive 2023
As mentioned above, the CS Executive exam will be divided into two modules - Module I and Module II. Candidates can fill the CS Executive exam form either for a single module or both modules altogether depending upon their preference. As per the CS Executive paper pattern, candidates have to solve both objective and descriptive questions.

Marking Scheme
For descriptive/subjective questions - There is no negative marking
For objective questions - 0.25 mark to be deducted for each wrong response and 1 mark is awarded for each correct answer
Medium of CS Executive Exam 2023
Candidates can opt to answer the question paper either in English/ Hindi based on their preference. However, English is compulsory for Business Management, Ethics and Communication, Tax laws and practice, Cost, Corporate and Management, and Accounting, Financial and Strategic Management papers
CS Executive Passing Criteria 2023
To qualify the CS Executive exam 2023, candidates should pass both modules with minimum 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all papers. Candidates who will secure marks as per the official passing criteria will only be treated as “Pass” for the next level - CS Professional exam.

CS Executive Syllabus 2023
Once aware of the paper pattern, candidates should refer to the official syllabus while preparing for the exam. ICSI uploads the official CS Executive syllabus on its official website. The candidates can prepare an effective plan according to the topics covered under the CS executive syllabus 2023.

Hello, I am preparing for cseet July session. But, The registration for cs executive is upto 31 July only for one module. So, should I apply for it or not???
Hello Saniya,
if you can read the module in one go and can revise the same Atleast 3 to 4times from august month to December then you should definatelly go for it.
But if you are having a doubt in mind if you cant clear CSEET or Cs group 1 then my advice for you to go for both the modules in June 2023 and clear both module in 1st attempt if possible and try harder to do so.
Start your preperation early for that and appear for both modules in June 2023.

If student fails to fill the exam form of CS Executive then that particular student is not allowed to write the exam as filling a form is an essential requirement.That student can write the exam only in next term after filling the form.
