CS Executive Registration June 2023 - The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will close the registrations for CS Executive June 2023 session (single module) on January 31, 2023. Candidates completing the CS Executive registration 2023 by January 31, 2023 will be registered in CS Executive programme under old syllabus (2017) and will be eligible to appear in any one module of CS Executive June 2023 examination. While students completing the registration on or after February 1, 2023, will be registered in CS Executive programme under new syllabus (2022) and they will be eligible to appear in both the modules of CS Executive December 2023 examination session. According to the schedule of ICSI, candidates could register for June 2023 session (both modules) till November 30, 2022. For CS Executive December 2023 session, candidates can register till May 31, 2023 for both the modules. Although ICSI keeps the registration process of CS executive open throughout the year. However, candidates must keep in mind the registration cutoff dates. CS Executive exam is conducted in June and December.

As mentioned above, the registration process for the CS Executive exam is open throughout the year. But to avoid confusion and chaos related to sectional and module wise dates, ICSI has prefixed the module wise cutoff dates for registration.

CS Executive Eligibility Criteria 2023

ICSI officially prescribes the CS executive eligibility criteria 2023 on its website - icsi.edu. Candidates who want to apply for the CS Executive course must check the eligibility criteria beforehand to avoid future cancellations.

• To register for CS Executive course, candidates should be above 17 years of age.

• Candidates should have passed the CS Foundation level or CSEET exam conducted by ICSI

• Candidates taking admission through direct entry route do not need to qualify CS Foundation/ CSEET exam. For such candidates, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is mandatory

• Candidates who have passed the final level of ICMAI or ICAI are also eligible to register

Routes for CS Executive Registration 2023

As mentioned above, ICSI allows candidates to register in the CA Intermediate course through two routes. One is the direct entry route; and the other is the Foundation/CSEET route. Let us understand the difference between the two routes of CS Executive registration 2023.

1- Foundation/CSEET Route - ICSI has divided the Company Secretary course into different levels - CS Foundation/ CSEET, CS Executive and CS Professional. Candidates who qualify the first level which is CS Foundation/ CSEET can move ahead with CS Executive 2023 registration.

2- Direct Entry Route - Candidates who have completed their graduation/postgraduation in Corporate Secretaryship or Commerce or in any disciplines other than Fine Arts can directly take admission in the CA Intermediate course. Therefore, such candidates taking admission through the direct entry route do not need to register or qualify CS Foundation/ CSEET exam.

Documents Required for CS Executive Registration 2023

Candidates must ensure that they have scanned copies of the following documents before filling the application form-

• Candidate’s photograph and signature

• DOB Certificate (Class 10 pass certificate)

• Admit card of Class 12 exam

• Qualification Certificate (Class 12 marksheet or certificate/ICAI/ ICMAI Final pass certificate/ Graduation pass certificate/Graduation Consolidated mark sheets/ Post Graduation pass certificate/ Consolidated mark sheets)

• Category certificate (other than general)

• ID proof (Aadhar card/passport/PAN card/driving license/ration card)

All the documents mentioned above must be uploaded in specified size and format while filling the CS Executive 2023 application form.

Procedure for CS Executive Registration 2023

After fulfilling the officially prescribed eligibility requirements, candidates can follow the given steps in order to register for the CS Executive exam-

Detailed steps to be followed for registration-

Step 1 - Go to the official website of ICSI

To submit the application form for CS Executive exam candidates have to go to the official website and click on the link “Online Services” visible on the menubar.

Step 2 - Click on ‘Register for CS Course’ or click on ‘Registration for CSEET passed students in CS executive programme’

Candidates who are registering with ICSI for the first time need to click on the link “Register for CS Course’, while the candidates who are registering after completing CSEET exam can click on the other option to proceed further.

Step 3 - Read the details and proceed for CS Executive 2023 registration

First time users need enter all the basic information, correspondence and permanent address and generate a unique ID. Move ahead by filling the details shown in the given image-

Step 4 - Check the fee details and proceed to upload the documents

After filling all the required details, candidates will be able to check the CS Executive fee details. Now upload all the above mentioned documents as per the specifications.

Step 5 - Preview application, complete payment and save transaction ID

The last step of filling CS Executive 2023 application form is to review the filled application form. Once confirmed that all the details are correct, candidates can move ahead and complete the payment. After the payment confirmation, a transaction ID will be generated. Candidates must download the transaction receipt and keep it for future reference.

What After CS Executive Registration?

Once the registration process of the CS Executive December sessions is over, ICSI will release the CS Executive exam form 2023. Candidates who want to appear in the December session must mandatorily fill the exam form in online mode. While filling the exam form candidates have to select the module(s) in which they want to give the December session CS Executive exams.

CS Executive Admit Card 2023

After the closure of exam form window, ICSI will release the CS Executive 2023 admit card in online mode. Some major exam related details such as candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre address, exam date and timings, module(s) and exam day guidelines will be mentioned under the CS Executive admit card. It is a mandatory document, therefore all candidates must download it before waiting for the last date. Carrying the admit card to the exam centre is mandatory for all candidates.
