As per the paper pattern, CS professional exam will consist of 9 papers including one elective paper. As per the CS professional 2023 exam pattern, Multidisciplinary Case Studies and one out of 8 elective papers is an open book exam. Candidates can select the CS professional elective paper according to their choice and preferences. CS Professional June 2023 exams will be held from June 1 to June 10, 2023, as per the CS Professional exam dates.

Mode and Medium of CS Professional Exam 2023
ICSI will conduct the CS Professional exams in offline mode only. It has already released the list of CS Professional exam centres 2023 where the June 2023 exams will be conducted. The question paper can be answered by candidates in both English and Hindi language.
CS Professional Marking scheme 2023
As per the official exam pattern, there is no negative marking for wrong answers. For each correct answer, candidates will secure two marks each.
CS Professional Passing Criteria 2023
ICSI has fixed a certain cut-off score for candidates to qualify the CS professional 2023 exams. The sectional cut off and the overall passing criteria are different and candidates are required to secure minimum passing marks.

List of CS Professional elective papers
The 9th paper in the CS professional exam 2023 is elective in nature. While filling the CS professional exam form 2023, candidates can select any 1 out of the 5 CS professional subjects. Paper 9 is is an open book exam. The list of these five subjects has been tabulated below -

CS Professional Syllabus 2023
As per the official notification, ICSI has removed the old syllabus for all levels of CS examination. Candidates enrolled under the CS Professional old syllabus (2012) have to compulsorily switch over to the new syllabus (2017). ICSI has updated the CS Professional syllabus according to the June 2022 session. Candidates should re-check the new syllabus and prepare from the June 2022 exam onwards.
