Eligibility for appearing in ca inter exam by direct route. can one give exam if he passed CPT but convert in direct route before completion of 9 months articleship training?
Dear Aspirant,
Looks like you want to pursue CA . If You are confident enough to enroll into CA, the direct route to the CA Intermediate would be after Graduation because After graduation you need not be giving CPT because it is for only Higher Secondary School students i.e. 12 standard.

Hello aspirant,
Please do check your mails and messages. You will find them . A mail was sent by icai after registration.
Hope this answers your question. All the best.
I have a question about CA foundation exam that after registering for CPT exam in January 2022 they will provide online classes for all the subjects
Hello,
I hope you are doing fine, If you got alloted any seat, and you accept it then, you have to pay the seat acceptance fees, and if you want to retain your seat, then you have to pay the additional partial admission fees.
If
you don't pay the partial admission fees then your seat will be cancelled, and you will get the refund of your seat acceptance fees.
As per rules of josaa - if a candidates seat is cancelled then the seat acceptance fees will be refunded after deducting the JoSAA processing charges of Rs. 2000.
So, you will get back your Rs. 33000.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck
is CA cpt and ca foundation are same ?? if not then what is the difference which exam should be given by a medical student to get an admission in ca ??
Hi
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has revised the chartered accountancy course structure of Common Proficiency Test (CPT) and renamed it as “CA Foundation”. So new subjects have been added in CPT and exam is renamed as CA foundation- entry level exam to become CA.
i searched a lot after my 10th result about CA,CPT [exam] nd in 10th result i got 81% overall so i wanted to ask that is it neseccary to give a cpt exam bcoz i searched and it says that the one who scored less than 50% they have to go for cpt exam....nd the best part ypu can enroll for IPCC.......
Dear Student,
In order to become a CA, earlier, it was required for a candidate to complete 12th and then, the candidate was supposed to register with the ICAI Institute and then candidates was supposed to give CA Foundation or CA CPT exam which was of qualifying nature and even the candidates who have completed their degree are also supposed to give an CPT exam.
But ICAI from 1st August 2012 has introduced a direct entry scheme for the candidates who have completed their Graduation degree. In this a Graduate candidates is exempted from the CPT exam and can now directly take an admission for the CA IPCC. From February 2016 the ICAI have made some changes in the CA Course and Syllabus. Now the CA IPCC course is renamed as the CA Intermediate course. So you need to take an admission for the CA Integrated course.
In order to be eligible for the CA Direct entry scheme one needs to score an aggregate 55% marks in the commerce graduation degree from a recognised University and having studied any three papers of 100 marks each out of Accounting, mercantile law, Corporate law, economics, Management, Costing Business Administration or Business Accounting, Taxation (Direct and Indirect Tax). So no more you need to give a CA Foundation | CA CPT or CA Foundation exam after completing your B.com and other graduation.
If you secured more than 50 percent in your graduation then you can directly enroll in the 2nd level which is known as the IPCC. However, if you have scored less than 50 percent marks in your graduation, then you will be required to clear the CPT exam first. Any graduates with less than a 50 percent score cannot directly appear for inter CA and have to pass CA-CPT exam first.
