CFA June 2020 exams postponed till December due to COVID19 pandemic
The Chartered Financial Analyst Institute has announced all CFA exams for the June 2020 session have been postponed due to the extreme breakout of Coronavirus pandemic all over the world. However, the authorities said that so many students have registered for the June 2020 session and have prepared for the exam, they shall provide the students the opportunity to give tests as soon as possible. In any case, it is expected that the exams have been postponed at least to December 2020.
CFA Institute has clearly advised students to not withdraw their June 2020 registrations, CFA will contact the registered candidates by May 8 regarding the new dates and upcoming course of actions. Candidates who have registered for June 2020 sessions will be informed about the postponed via email on March 19. The authorities will further get in touch with the students regarding the options of transferring registration and other key points through email by May 8, 2020.
As of March 12, 2020, a total of 2,45,000 global candidates have registered for CFA level 2 exams. As per CFA Institute “Securing exam administration sites, ensuring continued access to study materials, and organizing grading for new dates requires intentional and careful planning. Although we do not have a precise date, we can guarantee that candidates will have an opportunity to take the exam before the end of the year, and we appreciate everyone’s patience in the meantime.”
Apart from the exams, the institute is also evaluating the current situation and will cancel cancel programs if necessary
