ICSI announces relaxation for PET and one day orientation for June 2020 enrollments
The Institute of Company of Secretaries has announced relaxation for complying with the requirement of Pre-examination Test and One Day Orientation Programme for enrollment to june, 2020 session of cs examinations. The step has been taken in view of the recent outbreak of the COVID19 virus in the country.
Till now, candidates were required to appear for Pre-Examination Test (applicable for students of CS Executive and CS Professional Programme under 2017 New Syllabus) and also complete an one Day Orientation Programme (applicable for students of CS Foundation and Executive Programme registered on or after June 1, 2019).
What does the announcement mean?
As per the official notification from ICSI, students wishing to enroll for the June 2020 sessions of CS Executive and CS Professional programmes will be temporarily relaxed from taking the Pre Examination Test and One Day Orientation Programme which was earlier mandatory for June 2020 session enrollments. The two key announcements of the official notification from ICSI are:
Students shall be allowed to enroll for the June, 2020 CS Examinations, for the time-being, without any check on the status of compliance with the Pre-Examination Test and One Day Orientation Programme subject to the condition that they shall be required to comply with the said requirement (both conditions) latest by 17:00 Hours, on 30th April, 2020.
In case, after enrolling for June, 2020 Session of Examinations, such students are not able to comply with the requirements of Pre-Examination Test and One Day Orientation Programme by 17:00 Hours, on 30th April, 2020, their examination enrollment requests shall be rejected and 50% of the examination fee remitted by them shall be refunded.
Candidates who wish to register for the June 2020 sessions of CS examinations can take a note of this. The June 2020 session of CS Executive and CS Professional will be conducted from June 1 to 10, 2020.
