Dear Mohit,

CFA Programme is a self study course that test your knowledge in different areas over three levels of exam. The CFA exam is a very competitive exam.

Level 1 is about learning investment applications.

Level 2 is about applying them and

Level 3 focuses on using different applications for defining investment strategy and performing portfolio management.

According to CFA Institute, the average time taken by a student to clear the levels is four years. It is not necessary to clear all the levels of the exam in one go.

If a student clears all the levels in one go, then they can complete all the levels in the minimum span of 18 months.
