ICAI CA Exam Date 2026: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has notified the CA exam dates January 2026 on its official website. The CA Foundation Jan 2026 exam will be held on January 18, 20, 22 and 24, 2026. The CA Inter Jan 2026 exam dates are January 6, 8, 10, 12, 15 and 17, 2025. Meanwhile, the CA Final Jan 2026 exam dates are January 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 16, 2026. This year onwards, ICAI will conduct CA Inter and Foundation exams thrice every year. ICAI CA Exam Time Table: Overview

ICAI has segregated the CA course into three levels - CA Foundation, CA Inter, and CA Final. Registration for CA exams remains open throughout the year, but there is a cut-off date for each session. The exam form dates are released by ICAI for each session separately, aspirants should check the CA exam eligibility before filling out the exam form. The CA Foundation, Inter and Final January 2026 exam dates have also been announced.

CA Registration January 2026

ICAI accepts registrations for CA exams before the examination form. The registration for a CA Final exam remains valid for a period of five years from the date of initial registration. CA Inter exam registration is valid for four years and CA Foundation registration is valid for a period of 3 years. Post this, candidates have to revalidate their registration. Currently, the Foundation, CA Inter registration May 2026 and CA Final registration May 2026 are open.

Examination form window CA January 2026

The exam form for CA Jan 2026 exams will open on November 3, 2025 for all Foundation, Inter and Final exams. The last date to fill CA Jan 2026 exam forms without late fee is November 16, 2025. Students can also seek a change of correction of examination city/ medium for the CA examination Jan 2026 from November 20 to 22, 2025. The last date to fill out the ICAI CA Jan 2026 exam form with a late fee of Rs 600 is November 19, 2025.

Mock tests CA Jan 2026

ICAI conducts mock tests for candidates to check their preparation level and prepare better for the exams. Candidates registered for the CA Foundation, Inter and Final Jan 2026 exam can take part in mock test series free of cost. The mock tests for CA Jan 2026 exams will be made available on the official website of ICAI or ICAI BoS knowledge portal.

CA Admit card January 2026

The ICAi CA Foundation, Inter and Final admit cards for the January 2026 exams will be released tentatively 15 days before the respective exam dates. The CA Foundation Jan 2026 admit card will be released tentatively in the last week of December 2025, while the CA Inter Jan 2026 admit card, along with the CA Final, is expected to be issued the third week of December 2025. Candidates who have filled out the exam form successfully will be able to download their ICAI admit card after logging in to their dashboard. The hard copy of the CA admit card will not be provided to any candidate by post. Students must carry a CA admit card at all times during exam days along with a valid ID proof.

Exam day CA Jan 2026 guidelines

  • Carry a hard copy of the CA admit card 2026 and a valid government-issued ID card.
  • Reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the designated time.

  • Candidates will be allowed 15 minutes of reading time before the commencement of the examination.

  • Candidates won’t be allowed to leave the exam room until the exam is completed.

  • Each applicant is required to sign the attendance sheets in the appropriate column next to their name and roll number.

  • Candidates are not allowed to carry any prohibited items such as books, writing materials, smart watches, mobile phones, or other electronic devices inside the exam centre.

ICAI CA Jan Result 2026

ICAI releases the CA result 2026 for CA Inter, Final and Foundation a few days after the exams are completed. Candidates can check the result of CA exam on the official exam portal of ICAI. The results of CA Jan 2026 exams will be declared tentatively 45 days after the date of the exams. Along with the CA result, ICAI also releases the CA pass percentage and list of toppers.

If you chose chartered accountant (CA), then you have to write several exams and practical training. Here are some exams to write in your road to pursue CA, that are conducted by ICAI.

  • If you have passed 10th, then you can take an entry level exam. This foundation course consists of 4 papers
  • If you are a graduate or postgraduate with specified marks or higher degrees or you passed the foundation course then you can register for the IPCC. It consists of 2 groups with 4 papers each.
  • After you pass either 1 or both groups of IPCC, you should pursue articleship.
  • After completion or if you still have 6 months of your articles hip time, you can appear for the CA final exams. It consists of 2 groups each consists of 4 papers.
  • Before appearing for your final exams, you should undergo AICITSS during the last 2 years of practical training.
  • After you have passed in final exams and articleship, you can be a member of ICAI and can use Chartered Accountant before your name.

CA Foundation Exam Pattern 2024 – Details

  • The CA Foundation examination consists of four papers.
  • Paper 1 and Paper 2 are subjective type papers.
  • Paper 3 and Paper 4 are objective type papers.
  • The CA Foundation exam is conducted for a total of 400 marks, with each paper carrying 100 marks.

Candidates must successfully clear their 10th and 12th exams from a recognized educational institute . Also, the minimum mark they need to attain in their 12th standards is 50% aggregate. There is no age restriction to apply for the CA foundation.
