The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the CA Inter May 2024 result today, July 11, 2024. The CA Inter result verification is also open from July 12 to August 10, 2024. Candidates can apply from the official website - eservices.icai.org for inspection and verification of the result. The CA Intermediate result 2024 was also declared on the official website, icai.org. CA Inter Result May 2024 - Rank Certificate
Candidates are also issued rank certificates after the examination. The rank certificate indicates the rank secured by the candidate in the CA Intermediate examination. However in order to receive rank certificates, the candidates must satisfy certain conditions. Given Below are the criteria -
Candidate should pass the examination in one sitting.
He/she should not have received any examination exemptions.
A minimum of 55 per cent in the aggregate is required.
The candidate must have obtained a rank of 50 or higher on an all-India basis. Rank certificates are granted only up to the 50th rank
The rank certificates will be received by the respective regional offices and distributed among the candidates.
CA Intermediate Result 2024 - Statement of Marks
Candidates who receive an aggregate of 70% in a single attempt on all CA Intermediate exams will get a statement of marks indicating that they passed the exam with distinction. These candidates will get their statement of marks via email a short while after the CA Intermediate 2024 result is announced. If the candidate does not receive the same within 4-5 weeks of the announcement of the CA results 2024, they may contact dms_examhelpline@icai.in.
CA Inter Result May 2024 - Pass Certificate
Students who clear both groups of the CA Intermediate 2024 examination, either together or individually, will receive a pass certificate within 60 days of the result announcement. In case the students do not get the same within 8 weeks of the ICAI Intermediate result being announced, they can contact dms_examhelpline@icai.in.
CA Intermediate Result 2024 - Verification of Marks
If any candidate is dissatisfied with their CA Intermediate 2024 results, they can request verification of their marks in the answer sheets. The verification window for CA Inter May 2024 result will be notified by ICAI on its official website. The process of verification covers the following:
- Checking if the answer book's compilation is complete
- Verifying if any answer or a part of it remains unvalued
- Checking if there is any totalling error
- Looking for any discrepancy between the marks mentioned against each question and the marks indicated for the question on the cover page
- Checking if the handwriting of the candidate is the same across all the answer books
Candidates can make an application to verify their answer sheets either online or offline. The candidates will have to pay Rs. 100 for the verification of each paper. ICAI will open the online window for verification of CA Intermediate answer sheets.

Steps to Verify CA Intermediate Answer Sheets Online
Alternatively, candidates can also apply online for verification of their marks in the answer sheet. Given below are steps that candidates must follow to verify their answer sheets
Visit the official website of ICAI - icai.org.
Login with user ID and password.
Select the “verification of answer sheets” option.
Upload a scanned handwritten application for the verification of CA Intermediate answer books.
Select the papers that require verification.
Pay the application fees online.
Once the fees is paid, the candidates will get a notification for the same.
CA Intermediate Result 2024 - Inspecting/Obtaining Certified Copies
Candidates can also apply to obtain and inspect certified copies of their evaluated answer sheets. The certified copies inspection window for CA Inter May 2024 result will be notified in online mode. The candidate needs to pay the required fee as specified by the institute. To obtain the certified copies, the candidate needs to send a handwritten application duly signed so that their handwriting can be matched with the one on the answer sheet. Candidates need to apply online to obtain certified copies of their answer sheets.

Click on the “obtain answer booklets” option.
Upload the handwritten scanned copy of the application.

What After CA Intermediate Result 2024?
After clearing the CA Intermediate exam, candidates can enrol in the CA articleship practical training for 24 months. Candidates must pass both the groups of CA Inter and also complete the ICITSS under the new scheme to be eligible to register for CA Final.

CMA or Cost and Management Accounting is a certificate course providing CMA designation to the qualifiers. CMA has both descriptive and objective questions. CMA foundation is a mixture of questions. It is a three hour long exam conducted by ICMAI and it is a paper based on mainly class 12th concepts.

Hi,
For being eligible for the direct entry route in CA i.e for giving CA Intermediate exam directly without apppearing for the CA foundation exam you need to atleast complete your graduation. Since you have just completed your second semester exam you are not eligible for the direct entry route as you have not completed your graduation. Hence, you must prepare for your CA foundation exam first . Only when you clear CA foundation you will be eligibe for appearing for your CA intermediate exam.

To become a CA one needs to go through given 4 levels, listed below :-
1) ca foundation
2 ) ca intermediate
3) articleship Training
4 )ca final

don't have to go through CA Foundation, they can start directly start from level 2 i. e CA Intermediate through direct scheme.
As you are a BA i. e non- commerce graduate with 71 % i. e more than 60 % , so yes, you can definitely directly start with CA Intermediate through direct entry scheme .
To register you need to visit the official website i. e icai.org (http://icai.org/) . And after registration you need at least 8 months of study to appear for CA intermediate examination.
Each level you need to go through is described below briefly :-

In your CA Intermediate, you have 2 groups with 4 papers or subjects in each group

You can register for articleship after 1 or both groups of CA Intermediate. Articleship Training is of 3 years. During the last 2 years of your Articleship Training you have to complete your AICITSS i. e Advanced Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills

After qualifying both groups of CA Intermediate, you become eligible for CA Final registration. And can appear in CA final examinations either after completion of your Articleship Training or when you are in the last 6 months of your articleship training.

The last date to register for CA Intermediate 2022 November is March 1, 2022. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) keeps the registration for CA Intermediate open throughout the year. To register for CA Intermediate course, candidates have two options - admission through direct entry route or after clearing CA Foundation exam. There is no upper age limit for CA Intermediate registration. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation can also register for the CA Intermediate course on a provisional basis.
