About CSEET 2023
CSEET May 2023- The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will conduct the CSEET May exam 2023 on May 6, 2023 in online remote proctored mode. ICAI commenced the CSEET May 2023 registration on January 10, 2023. The last date to fill out the CSEET application form 2023 is April 15, 2023. Candidates can fill out the registration form by visiting the official website - smash.icsi.edu. Before applying, candidates must check the official CSEET eligibility criteria. The registration fee of CSEET exam is Rs. 1000; ICSI also provides concessions to candidates from certain categories. CSEET exam s conducted four times in a year - January, May, July and November.
CSEET January 2023 -The institute has declared the CSEET 2023 result for the January session on January 18, 2023 (4:00 pm). Candidates can download CSEET January result 2023 online from the official portal of ICSI - icsi.edu. ICSI conducted the CSEET January 2023 exam on January 7, 2023. The institute also conducted a retest on January 9, 2023.
CSEET 2023 Exam Details:
- CSEET exam 2023 is conducted in Remote Proctored Mode
- Candidates who have already qualified in CS foundation or ICAI CA final course or ICMAI CMA final course are exempt from appearing for CSEET
- The result indicates the qualifying status of each candidate and will be valid for a period of one year from its declaration
About CSEET exam
CSEET is an entrance exam conducted by ICSI, four times a year: January, May, July, and November. The CSEET has replaced the CS Foundation course; candidates who qualify for the exam are eligible for direct admission to the CS Executive course.
As per the CSEET eligibility criteria, to take the CSEET 2023 exam, the candidate needs to have passed 10+2 exam; graduates and postgraduate candidates also need to appear in the CSEET.
CSEET 2023 qualifying marks
To qualify (pass) CSEET 2023, the candidate needs to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and 50% marks in aggregate.
Such candidates who pass the CSEET 2023 exam are eligible for registration to the CS Executive programme. The CS executive programme is administered through correspondence/distance learning mode and is of 9 months duration. The option of attending classroom teaching facilities organized by the Institute will be available in select locations only, for which candidates will have to pay an additional fee.

ICSI has released the CSEET 2023 eligibility criteria on its official website. Candidates willing to take the exam need to fulfil the eligibility requirements. The following CSEET Eligibility 2023 conditions need to be fulfilled:
- Candidate appearing in Senior Secondary examination (10+2 exam) or equivalent examination
- Candidate who has passed the Senior secondary examination (10+2 exam) or equivalent examination
Note- Graduates/ postgraduates who could directly enter the CS Executive programme will now have to compulsorily pass the CSEET 2023.
Only the following categories of students can be exempted from CSEET 2023:
- Candidates who have qualified CS Foundation exam - Without any exemption fee
- Candidates who have passed CA Final (The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) - Have to pay Rs 5000 as exemption fee during CS Executive registration
- Candidates who have passed CMA Final (The Institute of Company Secretaries of India) - Have to pay Rs 5000 as exemption fee while registering for CS Executive.

ICSI has started the CSEET May 2023 registration process on January 10, 2023. CSEET registrations are open four times a year. To fill out the application for CSEET 2023, candidates must register, fill in the details, upload documents and pay the fee. The list of documents to upload with the application form is given here. The steps to register and fill out the CSEET application form 2023 are also given in this section.

- Photograph of the candidate (size 20kb to 50kb)
- Signature of the candidate (size 10kb to 20kb)
- DOB Certificate (10th pass certificate)
- Admit Card/ Hall Ticket for 10+2 Examinations (if appearing) or 10+2 Pass Certificate/ Mark Sheet (if already passed)
- Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Identity proof (Aadhar card/passport/voter ID /pan card/driving license/ration card)

How to fill the CSEET 2023 Application Form?
Step 1 : Registration: Click on the link given above
Step 2: Fill in basic personal, and address details and enter one exam centre as per preference from the list given Submit and note the unique registration ID generated
Step 3: Fee payable comes up on the screen. If the amount is correct, save and move to the next step
Step 4: Upload mandatory documents as specified above and submit the same
Step 5: Preview application. Check all details are correct and confirm the application form
Step 6: Select payment mode and pay the fees. Note the transaction ID for future reference
On successful payment, the CSEET 2023 is confirmed and intimated through email/SMS on the registered email id/mobile number. A CSEET exam schedule is sent through email/SMS.

Note that the CSEET registration can be done in stages. Candidates who have already filled in the basic registration details but could not completely filling the application can use their Unique Request ID after clicking on the incomplete registration option given therein and proceed to the next stages of the application process.

ICSI conducted the CSEET January 2023 mock test on January 4, 2023 in online mode. Appearance in the mock test is compulsory in view of its importance and usefulness for the candidates. The mock test is for two-hour time duration. The details related to the batch timings, user Id and password for the CSEET mock test are communicated by E-Mail / SMS separately to the candidates. Candidates are instructed to log-in 30 minutes prior to the stipulated time.
ICSI has released the CSEET admit card for January 2023 session on December 28, 2022. The admit card can be downloaded by the candidates using their registration number (unique ID) and date of birth. It is mandatory for all candidates to download the CSEET admit card 2023 before appearing in the exam.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has opened the CSEET 2022 registration for the December session. The last date to apply for CSEET registration 2022 is October 15, 2022. That means at least 8-10 months of preparation is needed to get the top score. The registration fee of CSEET exam is Rs. 1000; ICSI also provides concessions to candidates from certain categories.
