The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has introduced CS Executive Entrance Test (CSEET) for admission into CS Executive. CSEET will now replace the earlier CS Foundation programme for admissions to the executive programmes. CSEET 2020 has replaced the CS Foundation programme. Candidates willing to pursue the course of Company Secretaryship will now have to crack CSEET exam and then only register into CS Executive programme. As per the schedule released by ICSI, CSEET will be conducted four times a year, on May 20, July 20, November 20, 2020 and January 20, 2021. Candidates will be required to register for CSEET 2020 before April 15 to appear for the exam on May 20. To appear for CSEET on July 20, candidates have to register by June 15; registrations close on October 15 for the exam held on November 20 while the regsitrations for January 20, 2021 exam close on December 15. CSEET will comprise of MCQs in the computer based test with audio and video clips as well as descriptive questions in the viva voce. The CSEET 2020 will be conducted for a duration of 135 minutes (120 minutes for MCQs and 15 minutes for viva voce). The result will indicate the qualifying status of each candidate and will be valid for a period of one year from its declaration.

ICSI has released the CSEET 2020 eligibility criteria which has to be complied with by the students willing to pursue the course of Company Secretaryship. The following conditions need to be fulfilled:

How to fill the CSEET Application Form?
Step 1 : Registration: Click on the link given above.Step 2 : Fill basic personal, address details and enter one exam centre as per preference from the list given. Submit and note the unique registration ID generated.Step 3 : Fee payable comes up on the screen. If the amount is correct, save and move to the next stepStep 4 : Upload mandatory documents as specified above and submit the sameStep 6 : Preview application. Note that the CSEET registration can be done in stages. Candidates who have already filled in the basic registration details but could not complete filling the application can use their Unique Request ID after clicking on incomplete registration option given therein and proceed to the next stages of the application process.

Candidates who have appeared for CSEET 2020 in May can check their result on or before May 20 through their student login. They need to enter their registration number to login and avail the result. The qualifying status of the students will be mentioned in the result of CSEET along with the marks obtained in the entrance test. Only candidates declared as pass will be able to pursue the course. The result will depict the final score computed by adding the marks secured by candidates in both the Tests (CBT and Viva-Voce) out of a total of 200 marks.
How to check the CSEET Result?
The validity of the CSEET result is one year and candidates must register for the executive programme within one year failing which the CSEET result will be invalid and they may have to appear again.
ICSI has announced a minimum qualifying mark for CSEET. This is the CSEET cutoff which candidates must obtain if they wish to pursue the course. The CSEET qualifying cutoff is mentioned below
Candidates who secure the qualifying cutoff of CSEET will be declared as "Pass" in the entrance exam.
