Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) is conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India thrice in a year to screen students for admissions to the courses offered by the Institute. ACET 2020 will be conducted on February 29 from 10 am to 1 pm across 24 exam cities in the country. Registrations started on December 5 since 3 P.M. and the last date to register is January 28, 2020. The result for the February 29 edition of ACET 2020 will be announced on March 7. ACET result is valid for a period of three years from the date of declaration of the result. Candidates who qualify ACET exam become eligible to apply for the IAI membership to apply and pursue the actuarial courses. The admit card for the exam will be available from February 12 to be downloaded online using the ACET login ID provided to the candidates.

ACET Eligibility Criteria is the set of minimum qualifications that a student shoud possess in order to appear for the entrance test and avail admission into course of actuarial sciences. ACET 2020 is the entrance exam for the programmes conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India. The eligibility criteria for appearing in ACET 2020 is as follows:

ACET Application form is made available in online mode at the official website of IAI. Candidates have to register and pay the requisite fee for appearing in the ACET examination. ACET registration for February 2020 session started on December 5 and the last date is January 28, 2020. The steps to fill the ACET application form 2020 is as follows:
Step 1: Registration - Candidates must register on the official website. The registration window will be open within the specified dates only. Click here to register. Candidates will receive a validation mail from the institute which has to be used to go further in the application process.
Step 2: Upload photograph and enter personal details - Candidates must upload their recent passport size colour photograph (4.5 cm length x 3.5 cm width). The photo resolution should be 150px *150px with the size not more than 1MB to be saved only in (.png, .jpg, .bmp, .jpeg, .gif, .raw) format. A confirmation mail will be sent in case there are discrepancies in the photograph uploaded.
Candidates will also be required to enter their personal and academic details.
Step 3: Selection of Exam City - Candidates must select their preferred exam city from the given drop-down list of 24 cities. The exact address of the exam centre for ACET will be available in the admit card only. Candidates are advised to choose wisely as change of exam centre at a later stage is not permitted.
Step 4: Payment of application fees - Candidates must place Rs 3000 online as fees to write ACET 2020. Payment can be made by Debit or Credit Card or Internet Banking.
Step 5: Submission and Confirmation - After submission of the application form of ACET 2020, candidates can download the Welcome Kit of one Sample Question Paper, Indicative Solution from their login.

ACET exam pattern is announced by Institute of Actuaries of India. Candidates can use the exam pattern to know details about the entrance exam like duration, number of questions, type of questions etc. that may aid them to prepare well for the exam.
The ACET exam pattern is as follows:
ACET Admit Card 2020 is released online for download for prospective ACET 2020 candidates. The aspirants are required to download ACET admit card using their login credentials - email Id and password. The admit card must be carried to the exam along with a valid photo ID. Students in class 12 must carry their college ID or class 12 hall ticket duly attested to the exam hall.
Candidates are also allowed to carry a scientific calculator of the following models only
Candidates are advised to check the details on the admit card of ACET after downloading to correct any discrepancies.
IAI announces the ACET result in online mode with individual result to be accessed through login. IAI announces the result of ACET in the form of a pdf as well where the details of the candidates who have passed the exam are given. The result has been declared as pass or fail for each candidate who appeared for the exam.
Candidates who have qualified in ACET 2020 must thereafter apply for admission for the programmes in the order suggested or as per their preference.
