About ACET 2019
Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) is conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India twice in a year (December/January and June/July) to screen students for admissions to the courses offered by the Institute. ACET 2019 will be held on June 15, 2019 and December 15, 2019 from 10 am to 1 pm across 24 exam cities in the country. The application process for the June 15, 2019 edition of ACET 2019 will begin on February 20, 2019 and close on April 30, 2019. The admit card for the exam will be available for online download using the ACET login ID provided to the candidates. The result for the June 15 edition of ACET 2019 will be announced on July 4. ACET result is valid for a period of three years from the date of declaration of the result. Candidates who clear ACET 2019 will be eligible to apply for the IAI membership to apply and pursue the actuarial courses.

ACET 2019 Eligibility Criteria
ACET Eligibility Criteria is the minimum qualifications required from a student to be able to appear for the entrance test and avail admissions. ACET is the entrance exam for the programmes conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India. The eligibility criteria to appear for ACET 2019 is
- Candidates must have appeared in 10+2 examination or an equivalent examination.
- They must have studied English as one of the subjects at 10 + 2 level.
- Candidates who are pursuing their graduation or education at higher levels like engineering students or professionals, chartered and cost accountants, company secretaries, management graduates, degree holders in mathematical and statistical sciences etc are also eligible to appear for the exam
- Candidates who are working are also eligible.
- Candidates with qualifications in Mathematical subjects are also eligible

ACET Applications were available from February 20 to Arpil 30, 2019 for the exam to be held on June 15. Candidates must register first, upload their photograph, enter the requisite details and submit before paying the fees online. The steps to fill the ACET application form 2019 is as follows:
Step 1: Registration - Candidates must register on the official website. The registration window will be open within the specified dates only. Click here to register. Candidates will receive a validation mail from the institute which has to be used to go further in the application process.
Step 2: Upload photograph and enter personal details - Candidates must upload their recent passport size colour photograph (4.5 cm length x 3.5 cm width). The photo resolution should be 150px *150px with the size not more than 1MB to be saved only in (.png, .jpg, .bmp, .jpeg, .gif, .raw) format. A confirmation mail will be sent in case there are discrepancies in the photograph uploaded.
Candidates will also be required to enter their personal and academic details.
Step 3: Selection of Exam City - Candidates must select their preferred exam city from the gien drop down list of 24 cities. The exact address of the exam centre for ACET will bee available in the admit card only. Candidates are advised to choose wisely as change of exam centre at a later stage is not permitted.
Step 4: Payment of application fees - Candidates must place Rs 3000 online as fees to write ACET 2019. Payment can be made by Debit or Credit Card or Internet Banking.
Step 5: Submission and Confirmation - After submission of the application form of ACET 2019, candidates can download the Welcome Kit of one Sample Question Paper, Indicative Solution from their login.

ACET 2019 Exam Pattern
ACET exam pattern has been announced by IAI. Candidates can use the exam pattern to know details about the entrance exam like duration, number of questions, type of questions etc that may aid them to prepare well for the exam.
The ACET exam pattern is as follows

ACET Admit Card 2019 will be available online for download in June, 2019 for prospective ACET 2019 candidates. Candidates are required to download the admit card using their login credentials - email Id and password. The admit card must be carried to the exam along with a valid photo ID. Students in class 12 must carry their college ID or class 12 hall ticket duly attested to the exam hall.
Candidates are also allowed to carry a scientific calculator of the following models only

- Casio FX85 (ES/MS) (with or without any suffix)

Candidates are advised to check the details on the admit card of ACET after downloading to correct any discrepancies.
ACET 2019 Exam Centers

IAI will announce the ACET result on July 4, 2019. Candidates have to check the same online. IAI will announce the result of ACET in the form of a pdf where the details of the candidates who have appeared for the exam will give given with the individual qualifying status of each and every candidate. The result will be declared as pass or fail for each candidate who has appeared for the exam.
Candidates who have qualified in ACET 2019 must thereafter apply for admission for the programmes in the order suggested or as per their preference.
ACET result is declared twice in a year - for the June and December sessions.
