ICAI also announce the CA Foundation Jan 2025 pass percentage and CA Foundation Jan 2025 toppers along with the result. It will also open the CA Foundation January 2025 result verification and certified copies inspection window after declaring the results. How is the Result Computed for CA Foundation 2025?
To qualify for ICAI CA Foundation results January 2025, candidates should secure a minimum of 40% marks in each subject and 50% aggregate in all four subjects in a single attempt. According to ICAI CA Foundation exam pattern, there is a negative marking of one-fourth of the marks allotted to a particular question for each answer marked incorrectly. Once the result is announced, the institute will also release CA Foundation 2025 merit list and the list of top 50 rank holders for the December session.

What after CA Foundation Results 2025?
. Candidates must complete a study period of eight months to appear for CA Inter exams. This means that the students who pass the CA Foundation Jan 2025 exams will be eligible to appear for CA Inter Sep 2025 exams. . The next CA Foundation exams will be conducted in January 2025. ICAI has already announced the CA Foundation January 2025 exam dates.
For Qualified Candidates:
- Candidates who have passed the CA Foundation Jan 2025 exam can register for the CA Intermediate exam.
- Registration for CA Intermediate typically begins shortly after the Foundation results are announced.
For Unsuccessful Candidates:
- Candidates who could not qualify the CA Foundation exam should start their preparations for the next session.
- However, they can also apply for verification of their answer sheets through ICAI’s official portal in case of miscorrection.

2. Is it ok to fail in CA Foundation?
Candidates who fail to clear CA Foundation exam in their first attempt can retake the exam. CA Foundation exam is conducted thrice every year, in June, Septemer and January 2025.
3. Can I crack CA Foundation in 15 days?
Though the syllabus of CA Foundation exam is vast, candidates who have cleared their concepts beforehand can crack the CA Foundation exam by doing continuous revision.
4. What is the cutoff for CA Foundation?

If you chose chartered accountant (CA), then you have to write several exams and practical training. Here are some exams to write in your road to pursue CA, that are conducted by ICAI.
- If you have passed 10th, then you can take an entry level exam. This foundation course consists of 4 papers
- If you are a graduate or postgraduate with specified marks or higher degrees or you passed the foundation course then you can register for the IPCC. It consists of 2 groups with 4 papers each.
- After you pass either 1 or both groups of IPCC, you should pursue articleship.
- After completion or if you still have 6 months of your articles hip time, you can appear for the CA final exams. It consists of 2 groups each consists of 4 papers.
- Before appearing for your final exams, you should undergo AICITSS during the last 2 years of practical training.
- After you have passed in final exams and articleship, you can be a member of ICAI and can use Chartered Accountant before your name.

CA Foundation Exam Pattern 2024 – Details
- The CA Foundation examination consists of four papers.
- Paper 1 and Paper 2 are subjective type papers.
- Paper 3 and Paper 4 are objective type papers.
- The CA Foundation exam is conducted for a total of 400 marks, with each paper carrying 100 marks.
Candidates must successfully clear their 10th and 12th exams from a recognized educational institute . Also, the minimum mark they need to attain in their 12th standards is 50% aggregate. There is no age restriction to apply for the CA foundation.
