The authorities will communicate to candidates who have registered for CFA Level 1 2020 session via email by May 8, 2019. The CFA Level 1 June 2020 registration commenced on August 8, 2020 and candidates were allowed to register till October 2, 2019. The CFA Level 1 exam 2020 was scheduled to be held on June 6, 2020 but the authorities have now postponed the exam. CFA Institute had commenced the registration process for CFA Level 1 2020 from August 8, 2019. Interested candidates could apply only till October 2, 2019. The exam has been scheduled to be held on June 7, 2020. The step by step registration process of CFA Level 1 has been given below:
CFA Level 1 Registration Process
Open the official website of CFA Level 1 cfainstitute.org and then click on the ‘Register for exam’ option. Next, candidates will be asked to enter their email address and password.
Choose CFA Level 1 as the exam you want to appear for.
In the next step, fill your address details and click on ‘Save and Continue’ option.
Next, select your exam centre preference from the 6 exam centres options available in India namely Bangalore, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai and New Delhi.
After selecting your exam centre, enter your International travel passport details like name, DOB, passport number, etc. Please note that International Travel Passport is a mandatory document that students need to carry on the day of exam for verification.
Check the eligibility criteria and kick the relevant boxes.
Next, select your employment status and answer the 9 questions followed thereafter related to professional conduct.
Read the 21 policies of CFA and tick next to the statement of understanding. Also, candidates are required to choose the format in which they want to receive study material.
After completing all the above steps, candidates will have to pay their CFA Level 1 registration fee through credit card, Wire transfer, ACH, cheque, money order or postal order. The CFA Level 1 program fee has been given below

CFA Level 1 Admission Ticket
Candidates who will successfully register for the exam will be able to download their CFA Level 1 admission ticket 2020. The admit card will be made available for download in online mode only. Candidates must note that the CFA Level 1 admission ticket 2020 must be ‘printed on clean, unused paper’ as per the Institute’s guidelines as it is a mandatory document that every candidate need to bring along with them on the day of the exam
