CS Executive Eligibility Criteria 2026

ICSI officially prescribes the CS executive eligibility criteria 2026 on its website - icsi.edu. Candidates who want to apply for the CS Executive course must check the eligibility criteria beforehand to avoid future cancellations.

• To register for the CS Executive course, candidates should be above 17 years of age.

• Candidates should have passed the CS Foundation level or CSEET exam conducted by ICSI

• Candidates taking admission through the direct entry route do not need to qualify CS Foundation/ CSEET exam. For such candidates, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is mandatory

• Candidates who have passed the final level of ICMAI or ICAI are also eligible to register

Routes for ICSI CS Executive Registration 2026

As mentioned above, ICSI allows CS Executive registration for Executive through two routes. One is the direct entry route, and the other is the Foundation/CSEET route. Let us understand the difference between the two routes of CS Executive registration 2026.

1- Foundation/CSEET Route - ICSI has divided the Company Secretary course into different levels - CS Foundation/ CSEET, CS Executive and CS Professional. Candidates who qualify for the first level which is CS Foundation/ CSEET can move ahead with CS Executive 2026 registration.

2- Direct Entry Route - Candidates who have completed their graduation/postgraduation in Corporate Secretaryship or Commerce or in any discipline other than Fine Arts can directly take admission in the CA Intermediate course. Therefore, such candidates taking admission through the direct entry route do not need to register or qualify CS Foundation/ CSEET exam.

Documents Required for CS Executive Registration 2026

Candidates must ensure that they have scanned copies of the following documents before filling out the application form-

• Candidate’s photograph and signature

• DOB Certificate (Class 10 pass certificate)

• Admit card of Class 12 exam

• Qualification Certificate (Class 12 mark sheet or certificate/ICAI/ ICMAI Final pass certificate/ Graduation pass certificate/Graduation Consolidated mark sheets/ Post Graduation pass certificate/ Consolidated mark sheets)

• Category certificate (other than general)

• ID proof (Aadhar card/passport/PAN card/driving license/ration card)

All the documents mentioned above must be uploaded in a specified size and format while filling out the CS Executive admission form.

How to Register for CS Executive Course 2026

After fulfilling the officially prescribed eligibility requirements, candidates can follow the given steps for ICSI Executive registration -

Detailed steps to be followed for registration-

Step 1 - Go to the official website of ICSI

To submit the application form for CS Executive exam candidates have to go to the official website and click on the link “Online Services” visible on the menubar.

Step 2 - Click on ‘Register for CS Course’ or click on ‘Registration for CSEET passed students in CS executive programme’

Candidates who are registering with ICSI for the first time need to click on the link “Register for CS Course’, while the candidates who are registering after completing CSEET exam can click on the other option to proceed further.

Step 3 - Read the details and proceed with CS Executive 2026 registration

First-time users need to enter all the basic information, correspondence and permanent address and generate a unique ID. Move ahead by filling in the details shown in the given image-

Step 4 - Check the fee details and proceed to upload the documents

After filling in all the required details, candidates will be able to check the CS Executive fees details. Now upload all the above-mentioned documents as per the specifications.

Step 5 - Preview the application, complete payment and save the transaction ID

The last step of filling CS Executive 2026 application form is to review the filled application form. Once confirmed that all the details are correct, candidates can move ahead and complete the payment. After the payment confirmation, a transaction ID will be generated. Candidates must download the transaction receipt and keep it for future reference.

What After CS Executive Registration?

Once the registration process for the CS Executive December sessions is over, ICSI will release the CS Executive exam form 2026. Candidates who want to appear in the December session must mandatorily fill out the exam form in online mode. While filling out the exam form candidates have to select the module(s) in which they want to take the December session CS Executive exams.

CS Executive Admit Card 2026

After the closure of the exam form window, ICSI will release the CS Executive 2026 admit card in online mode. Some major exam-related details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre address, exam date and timings, module(s) and exam day guidelines will be mentioned under the CS Executive admit card. It is a mandatory document, therefore all candidates must download it before waiting for the last date. Carrying the admit card to the exam centre is mandatory for all candidates.
