The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) keeps the CS Executive registration window open throughout the year. Currently the CS Executive December 2024 registration is open till July 31, 2024 for single group. The CS Executive registration December 2024 for both the groups was closed on May 31, 2024. The CS registration cut-off dates are January 31 for May/June session exams and July 31 for November/December session exams every year. The CS Executive registration 2024 is mandatory for students wanting to enrol for the programme and eventually appear for it.

In an important notification, ICSI has announced that the CS Executive Syllabus 2017 students will be given another additional attempt in December 2024. The CS Executive syllabus 2017 was set to be discontinued from June 2024, however, students have been given one additional attempt.
Currently, the CS Executive registration December 2024 can be done at icsi.edu or the ICSI smash portal. Soon after the programme registration window is over, the CS exam form registration window is announced. CS Executive Cut-Off Dates 2024
As mentioned above, the registration process for the CS Executive exam is open throughout the year. But to avoid confusion and chaos related to sectional and module-wise dates, ICSI has prefixed the module-wise cutoff dates for registration.

CS Executive Eligibility Criteria 2024
ICSI officially prescribes the CS executive eligibility criteria 2024 on its website - icsi.edu. Candidates who want to apply for the CS Executive course must check the eligibility criteria beforehand to avoid future cancellations.
To register for the CS Executive course, candidates should be above 17 years of age.
Candidates should have passed the CS Foundation level or CSEET exam conducted by ICSI
Candidates taking admission through the direct entry route do not need to qualify CS Foundation/ CSEET exam. For such candidates, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree is mandatory
Candidates who have passed the final level of ICMAI or ICAI are also eligible to register

As mentioned above, ICSI allows CS registration for Executive through two routes. One is the direct entry route, and the other is the Foundation/CSEET route. Let us understand the difference between the two routes of CS Executive registration 2024.
1- Foundation/CSEET Route - ICSI has divided the Company Secretary course into different levels - CS Foundation/ CSEET, CS Executive and CS Professional. Candidates who qualify for the first level which is CS Foundation/ CSEET can move ahead with CS Executive 2024 registration.
2- Direct Entry Route - Candidates who have completed their graduation/postgraduation in Corporate Secretaryship or Commerce or in any discipline other than Fine Arts can directly take admission in the CA Intermediate course. Therefore, such candidates taking admission through the direct entry route do not need to register or qualify CS Foundation/ CSEET exam.
Documents Required for CS Executive Registration 2024
Candidates must ensure that they have scanned copies of the following documents before filling out the application form-
Candidate’s photograph and signature
DOB Certificate (Class 10 pass certificate)
Admit card of Class 12 exam
Qualification Certificate (Class 12 mark sheet or certificate/ICAI/ ICMAI Final pass certificate/ Graduation pass certificate/Graduation Consolidated mark sheets/ Post Graduation pass certificate/ Consolidated mark sheets)
Category certificate (other than general)
ID proof (Aadhar card/passport/PAN card/driving license/ration card)
All the documents mentioned above must be uploaded in a specified size and format while filling out the CS Executive admission form.

How to Register for CS Executive Course 2024
After fulfilling the officially prescribed eligibility requirements, candidates can follow the given steps for ICSI Executive registration -
Detailed steps to be followed for registration-
Step 1 - Go to the official website of ICSI
To submit the application form for CS Executive exam candidates have to go to the official website and click on the link “Online Services” visible on the menubar.
Step 2 - Click on ‘Register for CS Course’ or click on ‘Registration for CSEET passed students in CS executive programme’
Candidates who are registering with ICSI for the first time need to click on the link “Register for CS Course’, while the candidates who are registering after completing CSEET exam can click on the other option to proceed further.
Step 3 - Read the details and proceed with CS Executive 2024 registration
First-time users need to enter all the basic information, correspondence and permanent address and generate a unique ID. Move ahead by filling in the details shown in the given image-
Step 4 - Check the fee details and proceed to upload the documents
After filling in all the required details, candidates will be able to check the CS Executive fees details. Now upload all the above-mentioned documents as per the specifications.
Step 5 - Preview the application, complete payment and save the transaction ID
The last step of filling CS Executive 2024 application form is to review the filled application form. Once confirmed that all the details are correct, candidates can move ahead and complete the payment. After the payment confirmation, a transaction ID will be generated. Candidates must download the transaction receipt and keep it for future reference.

What After CS Executive Registration?
Once the registration process for the CS Executive December sessions is over, ICSI will release the CS Executive exam form 2024. Candidates who want to appear in the December session must mandatorily fill out the exam form in online mode. While filling out the exam form candidates have to select the module(s) in which they want to take the December session CS Executive exams.

CS Executive Admit Card 2024
After the closure of the exam form window, ICSI will release the CS Executive 2024 admit card in online mode. Some major exam-related details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre address, exam date and timings, module(s) and exam day guidelines will be mentioned under the CS Executive admit card. It is a mandatory document, therefore all candidates must download it before waiting for the last date. Carrying the admit card to the exam centre is mandatory for all candidates.

Hello Saniya,
if you can read the module in one go and can revise the same Atleast 3 to 4times from august month to December then you should definatelly go for it.
But if you are having a doubt in mind if you cant clear CSEET or Cs group 1 then my advice for you to go for both the modules in June 2023 and clear both module in 1st attempt if possible and try harder to do so.
Start your preperation early for that and appear for both modules in June 2023.

If student fails to fill the exam form of CS Executive then that particular student is not allowed to write the exam as filling a form is an essential requirement.That student can write the exam only in next term after filling the form.

Yes , you are eligible for CS Executive exam .
Here is the Eligibility criteria for CS Executive Eligibility Criteria :-
As per the eligibility criteria candidate must have completed their graduation / post graduation can registered for the CS Executive course.
As per CS Executive eligibility criteria , Fine arts students are not eligible for applying directly for CS Executive exam. Firstly they have to appear in CSEET exam.
Also there is no age boundations for the candidates on the basis of maximum age limit . But for Lower age limit candidate must have completed their 17 years of the Age.
Talking about number of Attempts : - A candidate are allowed 10 sessions attempts with in one Registration . Candidate once registered under the CS executive course are registered for 5 years with ICSI . Thus they are allowed to appear in 10 sessions post registration.

There is no specific syllabus for the Pre-exam test. As it applies to the executive program students, the test is conducted in all the papers of the Executive Program modules. The candidate is expected to possess knowledge about the Foundational syllabus to a certain extent as well. The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts the mandatory Pre-examination test for candidates who have enrolled for the CS Executive Program. It was from December 2018 that the institute began the Pre-exam test, prior to which there was no mandatory test.
