    The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has released the ICAI students, members and firms data. According to the ICAI student and members report 2025, there are a total 10,06,256 students enrolled in CA exams divided into three levels - CA Foundation, CA Inter and CA Final. Coming to the members, as of now there are total 4,07,629 members with ICAI including both Associate and Fellow members. Additionally, ICAI as of now has 98,967 registered firms with it.     ICAI CA Students Statistics 2025

    Currently, there are a total of 10,06, 256 students registered in the Chartered Accountancy course. Out of the total number, 3,47,256 students are enrolled in the CA Foundation course. The CA Intermediate level has the maximum number of students. A total of 4,17,609 students are registered in the CA Intermediate exam, while 2,41,391 students are registered in the CA Final exam.     ICAI Membership Statistics 2025

    According to the ICAI membership report 2025, the institute has a total of 4,07,629 active members at present. Out of the total number, 2,89,886 are Associate members, while 1,17,743 are Fellow members. Talking about the ICAI Certificate of Practice (COP) status, total 1,59,557 members currently hold COP, while 2,48,072 do not hold COP.     ICAI Registered Firms Statistics 2025

    A total of 98,967 firms have registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India . Out of the total 98,967 firms, 3,791 are sole practitioner firms, 68,125 are proprietary firms and 27,051 are partnership firms or LLPs. The numbers are dominated by proprietary firms, which means that CAs are more inclined towards individual practice. The detailed data on ICAI registered firms has been given in the table below:

    See application process is already live for CA Final 2022 examination for November 2022 session so if you had applied for it then it is alright and the last date to apply for it is July 1st 2022.
