For the year 2025, the CFA level 2 exam will be conducted in May, August, and November as per the official CFA Level II exam dates given by the CFA Institute.

The Chartered Financial Analyst Institute prescribes the eligibility criteria for CFA level 2 exams. Before registration, candidates should read the official eligibility requirements to avoid future rejections of the CFA level 2 application form 2025. Information such as educational qualification, working experience, qualifying marks, and related information is provided under the eligibility criteria of CFA level 2.

As per the eligibility requirement, the following points must be fulfilled by the candidates:

• Qualify the CFA Level 1 exam

• Should hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university and institute

• Undergraduate students can also apply provided they have no more than 11 months left before their graduation.

• Work experience of at least 4000 hours and/or higher education acquired over 3 sequential years. In case of a combination of higher education or work experience, then for calculation purposes, one year of higher education will be considered as 1000 hours. Education and work experience should not overlap each other.

• Should possess a valid international travel passport

Process of CFA Level 2 Registration 2025

CFA Level 2 registrations are open through out the year for different sessions. Candidates must carefully track the registration dates to successfully apply for the exams.

Step 1 - Visit the official website of the CFA Institute - cfainstitute.org. Now, go to the link “Programs” visible on the menu bar. Click on the option “Register” given under the drop-down menu as shown in the following image.

Step 2 - Once on the register page, scroll down and click on the link “Enroll and Register” to proceed further for the CFA Level 2 registration.

Step 3 - Enter your existing registered email address and log into your CFA account. Now choose the option “CFA level 2” to proceed with the registration process. Fill in all the required information such as address details, preferred exam centres for CFA level 2, passport number, employment status as per experience, work history and related details.

After this, go through all the policies mentioned on the official website of the CFA Institute. To move further, check the box of the statement of understanding.

Step 4 - Complete the registration payment as per the CFA level 2 fee guidelines. Use any of the payment modes accepted by the CFA Institute.

CFA level 2 Exam Centres 2025

The Chartered Financial Analyst Institute will conduct the CFA level 2 exam in computer-based exams. Registered candidates can select from over 400 exam centres around the globe during the CFA level 2 scheduling and rescheduling process. At present, there are 23 CFA exam centres in India.

Candidates can select the exam date on which they wish to appear in the CFA level 2 exam.

Rescheduling of CFA Level 2 exam
