CS Professional Exam Form 2019 - The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) had released the CS Professional exam application Form on August 26 in online mode. Candidates registered into the programme were able to fill the CS Professional exam form 2019 for December session till September 25, 2019. Further submissions of CS Professional 2019 exam form were accepted till October 10, 2019 with additional payment of Rs 250 along with the application fee. Candidates were advised to fill the same before CS Professional exam application last date to appear in the December 2019 session of exams. The CS Professional exams for December 2019 session were conducted between December 26 and January 3, 2020 for all modules of both old and new syllabi. Candidates eligible for exemptions have to apply for the same carefully while filling the CS Professional application form. The officials have recently notified on September 24, 2019 that the last date to pass the CS Professional pre-exam test has been extended to October 31, 2019. With the introduction of 2017 syllabus for CS Professional and Executive, candidates under the new syllabus had to mandatorily pass in CS Professional pre-exam test and then fill CS Professional application form for appearing in the examination. Earlier, the pre-exam test was to be cleared before October 10, which is the last date to fill CS Professional exam form as well. Thus, candidates may refer the official ICSI announcement in this regard and proceed accordingly.
Candidates aspiring for December 2019 session of CS Professional are required to comply with certain eligibility criteria as specified by ICAI. The basic requisites for the upcoming session of CS Professional are as follows:

Candidates aspiring for the upcoming session have to follow the steps below to fill the CS Professional exam application form:
Visit the student login page of ICSI at smash.icsi.in.
Login with the help of username and password.
Click on ‘Module’, then scroll over ‘Enrollment’ and select ‘Enrollment Request’.
Click on ‘Examination Enrollment Request’ and then select ‘Add Enrollment Request’.
Now fill in details like country, state, etc. and then click on ‘Next’.
Click on ‘Confirm Application’ after verifying the details.
Choose payment mode, click on ‘Proceed’ and pay accordingly.

ICSI has provided the exemption facility for aspirants of CS Professional. Candidates eligible for exemption in any of the papers as per the requisites provided below have to apply for the same in CS Professional 2019 exam form. Those who do not apply specifically, even if eligible, will not be granted exemption in any paper. Thus, here are the basic conditions which the aspirants have to comply with in order to apply for an exemption. There are two kinds of exemptions:
Paper- wise exemption on the basis of Higher Qualification
The basic higher qualification required for ICSI exemption in general is LLB or having passed the final exams of CMA (The Institute of Cost Accountants of India). But for CS Professional, there is no exemption allowed for LLB pass candidates.

Paper 2: Advanced Tax Laws
Paper 7: Corporate Funding & Listing in the Stock Exchanges
Elective Paper- 9.7: Valuation & Business Modelling
Paper- wise exemption on the basis of scoring 60% or above marks
If a candidate scores 60% or above marks in any of the CS Professional papers, he/ she becomes eligible to apply for an exemption. The outcome will be that the candidate will not have to appear again in the exam in the session that follows which he/ she performed well in. There are two conditions to be fulfilled:
First Condition- If the candidate appears in all papers covered under the module and scores at least 25% marks in each of them, he/ she becomes eligible to seek exemption in those papers in which he/ she scored 60% or more marks.
Second Condition- If the candidate appears in all the required papers covered under the module but fails in one paper covered under the module, he/ she shall be eligible for exemption in the remaining papers, if he/she scores 60% or more marks, taking all such remaining papers together and at least 40% marks in each of the remaining papers.
ICSI does not ordinarily allow candidates to make any changes to particulars filled in the exam form before CS Professional exam application last date. But under unavoidable circumstances, candidates are allowed to request for change in the CS Professional application form. The details for requesting a change are provided below:

Candidates having passed the CS Executive level and aspiring for CS Professional have to register into the programme through online mode. ICSI keeps the CS Professional registration open throughout the year, however, there is a cutoff date for each session before which, candidates have to register mandatorily. The last date to register into all modules of CS Professional, December 2019 was February 28, while that for any one of the modules was May 31, 2019. Only registered candidates are able to fill the CS Professional 2019 Exam Form.

ICSI has released the CS Professional admit card on December 11 in online mode. Candidates are able to download the same from official website of ICSI as it is made available. Details mentioned by the candidate in the CS Professional exam form 2019 are to be mentioned in the admit card. The CS Professional exams December 2019 were conducted between December 20 and 30 for old and new syllabi. Candidates are mandatorily required to carry their CS Professional admit card in the exam hall for all examinations.
Candidate has to scroll over ‘Online Services’ portal on the home page of ICSI website and select the ‘register for CS’. Then the requisite details are to be fulfilled accordingly.
