The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has notified that beginning from the CA May/June 2024 session, the CA Foundation and CA Intermediate will be held thrice a year. The official notification to this effect was released by ICAI on April 24, 2024 on the official website - icai.org. The CA Foundation exams and CA Inter exams would now be held three times a year in the months of January, May/June and September. There is no change in the schedule of CA Final exams. The CA Final would be held twice a year as earlier, in the months of May and November.
ICAI has also notified the new cut-off dates for CA Foundation registration and CA Inter registration. It must be noted that all the CA exams will be held as per the ICAI new scheme implemented last year. Read on to find out all details on CA Foundation and CA Intermediate to be held thrice a year including the registration cut-off date, registration fees and more.

ICAI has notified the revised registration cut off dates for CA Foundation and CA Inter on its official website. The registration dates are in accordance with the rules and regulations notified under the new ICAI scheme.
As per the new scheme, candidates must complete their CA Foundation registration with the Board of Studies at least 4 months on or before the 1st day of the month in which the CA Foundation exam is going to be held. On the other hand, candidates must have completed their CA Inter registration at least 8 months on or before the first day of the month in which the CA Inter exam is going to be held.
CA aspirants must note that there are no registration cut off dates for CA FInal. Candidates who have completed CA Inter can do CA Final registration. However, candidates are required to ensure there is a gap of at least 6 months after the completion of their practical training and appearing for the CA Final exams.
Other than the registration dates, there has been no change in the CA Foundation eligibility criteria or the CA Inter eligibility criteria on account of CA exams being held thrice a year for Foundation and Inter. Candidates must make sure they fulfil all the eligibility requirements under the new scheme to appear for the exam.

A student who has completed 10+2 is eligible to appear for CA Foundation. Such students must also have completed the prescribed study period. Given below are the steps to complete CA Foundation as per the new ICAI scheme
Register with Board of Studies
Complete 4 months of study period for the CA Foundation course
Fill up the CA Foundation exam form released by ICAI before the deadline
Appear in CA Foundation exam after completing class 12
Qualify the CA Foundation exam to become eligible for CA Inter registration
A CA aspirant can register for CA Inter through the Foundation route, i.e. after completing the CA Foundation. Alternatively, a candidate can also register for CA Inter through the direct entry route after completing graduation. Given below are the steps to complete CA Inter as per the new scheme
Register with the Board of Studies on completion of CA Foundation (through the Foundation route ), or on completion of graduation (through direct entry route)
Complete 8 months of the study period
Fill up the CA Inter exam form for a particular session before the specified deadline
Appear for one or both the groups of the exam
Pass both the groups of CA Inter to be eligible for CA Final registration
As per the revised schedule notified by ICAI, CA Foundation and CA Inter will be conducted three times in a year.
CA Foundation and CA Inter will be conducted in January, May/June, and September.
The last date to register for CA Foundation September is May 1 of that year. The last date to register for the CA Inter September session is January 1 of that year.

I'm assuming you mean that you wrote wrong question booklet number in CA Foundation Maths exam and then corrected it using a whitener and wrote the correct number over it. If this is the case, then you don't need to worry as such mistakes happen a lot among students every year and as we cannot replace the OMR sheet, the invigilators suggest to use whiteners.
It's perfectly normal and acceptable. You need not worry about anything.
