Candidates are expected to adhere to the guidelines and comply with the rules of the examination on the ICAI CA exam date. This includes ensuring the possession of valid admit cards, following the specified dress code, and abstaining from any form of misconduct or insincere behavior.

The CA Foundation exams are scheduled for May 15, 17, 18, and 21, 2025. The CA Intermediate exams will take place from May 3 to May 14, 2025, while the CA Final exams will be conducted in the first half of May, running from May 2 to May 14, 2025.

ICAI CA May 2025 Exam Day Guidelines

ICAI has specified certain exam day guidelines that need to be followed on the day of exam.:

  • Candidates must check the reporting time on their admit cards and reach the centre at the given time only to avoid any crowding.

  • Students must bring their stationery, as borrowing/lending/exchanging of the same in the examination hall is strictly prohibited.

  • Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam centre until the end of the exam.

  • On the day of the exam, make sure to carry the admit card, ID proof, and other essentials.

Any kind of electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatches, bluetooth earphones, etc, is strictly prohibited inside the exam hall.

CMA or Cost and Management Accounting is a certificate course providing CMA designation to the qualifiers. CMA has both descriptive and objective questions. CMA foundation is a mixture of questions. It is a three hour long exam conducted by ICMAI and it is a paper based on mainly class 12th concepts.

For being eligible for the direct entry route in CA i.e for giving CA Intermediate exam directly without apppearing for the CA foundation exam you need to atleast complete your graduation. Since you have just completed your second semester exam you are not eligible for the direct entry route as you have not completed your graduation. Hence, you must prepare for your CA foundation exam first . Only when you clear CA foundation you will be eligibe for appearing for your CA intermediate exam.
