The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued the exam guidelines for the upcoming CA Foundation, Intermediate and Final January 2026 session examinations. The guidelines outline the important details related to eligibility, application process, exam schedule, etc. Since there is little time left for preparation, candidates must prioritise and focus on last-minute preparation.
It is mandatory to carry the ICAI CA Jan 2026 admit card to the examination centre. Candidates can print their admit cards from the official website. The authorities will issue the hall ticket tentatively in the first week of January 2026. Candidates are not allowed to carry mobile phones, smart watches and other electronic gadgets inside the exam hall. Candidates appearing for the exam must score a minimum of 40 marks in each paper and at least 50% in aggregate in one sitting to pass the CA Foundation exam.

ICAI has specified certain exam day guidelines that need to be followed on the day of exam.:
Candidates must check the reporting time on their admit cards and reach the centre at the given time only to avoid any crowding.
Students must bring their stationery, as borrowing/lending/exchanging of the same in the examination hall is strictly prohibited.
Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam centre until the end of the exam.
On the day of the exam, make sure to carry the admit card, ID proof, and other essentials.
