    The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the CA Inter May 2026 results on June 24, 2026. The authorities have released the CA Inter May 2026 pass percentage, toppers list, number of students who appeared and passed the exam, along with the CA Inter May 2026 results. ICAI has announced that 10.25% of students have passed Group I, which is 9,350 out of 91,237 students who appeared for the same. For Group II, 64,381 students appeared, and only 10,372 cleared the exam, making the pass percentage 16.11%. The CA Inter May 2026 pass percentage for both Groups is 8.47%, where 2,820 students cleared the exam out of 33,304 who appeared for the same. The CA Inter May 2026 pass percentage is a great metric to understand the difficulty level of the exam.

    Previous Year’s CA Inter Pass Percentage

    Understanding the previous year’s trends will help aspiring candidates prepare for the CA Inter exam. The exams held in the last year have not crossed a CA Inter pass percentage beyond 28% in any group. This indicates that the exam is difficult to qualify.

    CA Inter May 2026 Passing Marks

    ICAI has specified the CA Inter May 2026 passing marks to qualify for the exam. Candidates require 40% in each of the six papers. This means that they require 40 marks out of 100 in each paper. Moreover, the aggregate marks in each group must be 50%, which makes it 150 marks out of 300. Candidates who have appeared for both groups must also score an aggregate of 300 marks out of 600 to pass the CA Inter 2026 exam.

    What After CA Inter 2026 Results?

    As per the new guidelines by ICAI, candidates are required to complete the Integrated Course on Information Technology and Soft Skills (ICITSS) training and pass both groups of the CA Inter 2026 exam to register for the CA Final 2026 exam. Candidates must also enrol in the mandatory articleship training. Note that students must complete a study period of six months before appearing for the CA Final exam.
