    The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has declared the CA Inter May 2026 results on June 24, 2026. A total of 1,22,314 candidates appeared for the CA Inter May 2026 exams. A total of 91,237 candidates appeared for CA Inter May 2026 Group 1, out of which only 9,350 students passed, taking the pass percentage to 10.11%. Meanwhile, a total of 64,381 students appeared for CA Inter May 2026 Group 2, out of which 10,372 passed, taking the pass percentage to 16.11%. Talking of CA Inter May 2026, both groups- a total of 33,304 students took the exams, and only 2,820 passed; the pass percentage for both groups was 8.47%.     How many marks are required to pass CA Inter exams?

    ICAI has a pre-specified exam qualification criteria for CA Inter. To pass both groups of CA Inter exam, candidates must secure a minimum 40% in each subject and a total 50% aggregate in both groups. Similarly, to pass one group, candidates must secure a minimum 40% in each subject and score 50% aggregate marks overall in the group to be deemed qualified. In case candidates do not fulfil both conditions, they will not be deemed qualified.
