The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the CA Final subjects 2024 on its official website - icai.org. The CA Final 2024 subjects new syllabus have been prescribed as per the ICAI new scheme implmented in 2023. Under the CA Final subjects new scheme, there are six subjects in CA Final divided into two groups of three subjects each. The number of CA Final subjects 2024 has been reduced from the earlier eight to six. There are total three CA Final Group 1 subjects and three CA Final Group 2 subjects.
The CA Final May 2024 was the first final exam to be conducted under the new scheme. Further, ICAI has also notified that from May 2024, CA exams will be held thrice a year for CA Foundation and CA Inter. No changes have been made in the schedule of CA Final which will continue to be held twice a year as of now.

Candidates appearing in CA Final Exam 2024 should refer to the complete list of CA Final 2024 subjects to prepare for the exam effectively. The new scheme will be applicable from May 2024 session of the CA Final exam based on a new syllabus. ICAI has prescribed the syllabus for CA Final examination 2024 November session. According to the subjects in CA Final 2024, there are two groups of subjects. Both group 1 and group 2 consists of three papers. Group 1 includes paper 1, paper 2, and paper 3 , while group 2 includes paper 4 paper 5, and paper 6. One of the significant differences between ICAI CA Final old syllabus and new syllabus under the existing scheme is paper 6.

CA Final exam is conducted in offline mode by ICAI. The CA Final exam has two groups - Group I and II. Both groups have different subjects. Candidates will have to clear both groups to be considered CA Final pass. Candidates must score 40% in individual subjects and 50% in aggregate The pass percentage of CA Final usually revolves around 15-20%. The duration of the exam is three hours.
Candidates should go through the syllabus of CA Final 2024 before starting their preparation for the examination. The syllabus includes 6 CA Final subjects and is divided into two groups as per the new scheme. Also, the questions in the CA Final exam 2024 will be based on the new syllabus. Therefore, it will be beneficial for the candidates to refer to the new syllabus of CA Final exam prescribed by ICAI.

Now coming to the question of choice of elective paper so don't worry because choice of elective paper will be asked while filling examination form for CA final 2022 which would be available for the candidates in October 2022 so you can fill it out at that time and till then you will have to wait for it.

No you cannot apply after the final date of registration. Unless the officials extend the last date you will not be eligible for applying after the final date of registration. As of now there are no information from the officials regarding the extension of the final date. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has opened the CA Final 2022 registration in online mode. The last date for the CA Final May 2022 registration was January 1, 2022. You can apply for December session. The last date is on July 1, 2022.

First of all make plan that what are you going to study,for how many hours you are going to study a topic and on what you will focus on. Plan all these things so that you don't get distract while studying. Then maintain a timetable and follow it .
We all have same working hours but we don't utilize them properly so start utilizing your working hour according to your mental energy .
Always study in a peaceful environment so that you can learn more in less time that means effective study .
Now if you are talking pparticularly about commerce then you can divide subjects into two part
(A) Numerical portion: First clear you concepts and after that practice as much as you can for Numerical.
(B) THEORY Portion: Make notes and clear your concept and revise them.
Try to understand instead of just mugging up lessons so that you can remember it for long time .
And last but not least study with enthusiasm. Enjoy study . Don't take study as burden.
