The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is set to declare the results for the CA Final January 2026 examination by the evening of March 1, 2026. The CA January 2026 exams were conducted across multiple Indian cities and overseas locations. Group I papers took place on January 5, 7, and 9, followed by Group II examinations on January 11, 13, and 16. Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and a cumulative aggregate of 50% in each group to pass. For those appearing in both groups, a combined aggregate of 50% is mandatory.
ICAI has announced the Chartered Accountant (CA) Foundation, Intermediate, and Final May 2026 exam dates. Candidates can apply for ICAI CA May 2026 exams on the official website, eservices.icai.org from March 3. The last date to apply is March 16 without a late fee.

Visit the official website, icai.nic.in or icai.org.
Click on the result link titled "CA Final Result January 2026."
Enter the roll number and registration number.
Input the displayed CAPTCHA code for security verification.
Click "check result." The scorecard will appear; save it as a PDF or print it for future verification.

To claim an exemption, the student must have appeared in all papers of that group and must not have been marked absent in any paper.
Criteria: If a candidate fails the group but secures 60% or more in any specific paper, they are exempt from appearing in that paper for the next three examination cycles.
Permanent exemption: Under the New Scheme, if a student cannot clear the remaining papers within three attempts, they can still opt to keep the exemption permanently, though they must then score 50% in each remaining paper instead of 40%.

4:00 AM, March 1, 2026 | ICAI to Release CA Final Jan 2026 Pass Percentage Along with Results
Along with individual scorecards, ICAI will publish the official pass percentage for Group I, Group II and Both Groups. The merit list and All India Rank (AIR) holders are also expected to be announced shortly after the result declaration.
8:21 PM, February 28, 2026 | CA Inter and Foundation Jan 2026 Result Date
ICAI has not officially announced the CA Inter and Foundation result date Jan 2026 on its website. However, candidates can expected the ICAI CA Intermediate and Foundation Jan 2026 results in the coming few days before March 6, 2026.

Candidates must score a minimum 50% marks in aggregate to pass a single group of CA Final Jan 2026. Also, candidates must score a minimum 40% in each subject.

As per the official notification, the ICAI CA Final January 2026 results will be declared in the evening of March 1, 2026. Candidates can expect the CA Final Jan 2026 results time at around 5 pm.

See application process is already live for CA Final 2022 examination for November 2022 session so if you had applied for it then it is alright and the last date to apply for it is July 1st 2022.
