The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has notified the CA Inter May 2026 exam schedule. ICAI will conduct the CA Inter exam on May 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, & 13, 2026. The institute also announced the exam form window dates. The CA Inter may 2026 exam form window will open on March 3, 2026. Interested candidates can fill out the exam form for the CA Intermediate January 2026 session without a late fee till March 16, 2026.

The CA Inter exam for the May 2026 session will be held in 290 cities across India and 9 overseas cities, which include Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimphu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait, Muscat, and Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. CA Inter May 2026 Registration - ICAI keeps the registration for CA Intermediate open throughout the year. Candidates are advised to check the registration cutoff dates as well as the CA Inter eligibility criteria. The last date to register for CA Intermediate May 2026 examination is January 1, 2026.

CA Intermediate May 2026 Application Correction Window

ICAI will also open the facility to make changes to the already filled exam application form. The CA Inter May 2026 exam form correction window will open for two days immediately after the closing of the exam form window. The CA Intermediate 2026 exam form window will open from March 20 to 22, 2025. Those who have made any mistake in the exam form or wish to make any changes or corrections can update their details.

Hello

Yes, you can get a scholarship for CA Intermediate if you qualify for certain programs. The ICAI itself offers merit-based and need-based scholarships to help students. what is the exam pattern of of the CMA exam ? Is it discriptive or objective?

CMA or Cost and Management Accounting is a certificate course providing CMA designation to the qualifiers. CMA has both descriptive and objective questions. CMA foundation is a mixture of questions. It is a three hour long exam conducted by ICMAI and it is a paper based on mainly class 12th concepts.

CMA examination has a mixture of objective and descriptive questions.

Currently, I'm doing my bba and my 2nd semester has just ended. As i want to start my ca preparation, my question is should i prepare for ca foundation exam or directly for ca intermediate exam?

Hi,

For being eligible for the direct entry route in CA i.e for giving CA Intermediate exam directly without apppearing for the CA foundation exam you need to atleast complete your graduation. Since you have just completed your second semester exam you are not eligible for the direct entry route as you have not completed your graduation. Hence, you must prepare for your CA foundation exam first . Only when you clear CA foundation you will be eligibe for appearing for your CA intermediate exam.
