    The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) releases the statistics for each session of CA Intermediate exam along with the results. A total of 1,40,294 students appeared for the CA Inter Jan 2025 exam The CA Inter January 2025 results were declared on March 4, 2025. In general around 1,20,000 to 1,50,000 students take the CA Intermediate exam each session. The CA Intermediate Sep 2024 exam saw a slight dip in the number of candidates taking the exam. However, this was compensated in the Jan 2025 exams where a swooshing number of 1,40,000+ candidates took the exam. This can be due to the fact that CA Inter exams are conducted thrice a year from this attempt.
