ACET Registration 2019 - The Institute of Actuaries of India had extended the last date of registration for ACET 2019 to August 30 (till 3 pm). The registrations were opened for ACET 2019 September session on July 16, 2019. For students who want to build a career in the actuarial sciences, it is integral to qualify the ACET as successfully qualified students will be able to register for membership and student status with the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). This will enable the students to give other actuarial exams offered by IAI and therefore provide professional attestations to their knowledge and skills in the actuarial sciences. As IAI is the only government institute for education in the domain of the actuarial sciences, these qualifications are highly recognized in the Indian job market. Following the ACET registration 2019, prospective aspirants can appear for the exam and work towards a professional career in actuarial sciences with IAI qualifications under their wing.

ACET 2019 Registration Process

The registrations for ACET 2019 commenced on July 16, 2019 for prospective ACET aspirants of September session. In order to register, candidates need to follow the given steps:

  • The candidate must access the official ACET registration form which has been provided by Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) at

  • The candidate must fill out the registration form carefully, as the ACET 2019 admit card which will be subsequently issued will contain corresponding details.


  • The option to enter the preferred ACET test centre/ city is presented in the ACET 2019 registration form. Once the form has been submitted, the test centre cannot be changed.

  • Upon submitting the ACET registration 2019 form, candidates will receive a confirmation email at their registered email address.

  • The confirmation email will contain a link through which the candidate can upload the requisite photographs and pay the non-refundable fee which covers the cost of ACET 2019, one sample paper and answer key.

  • Upon successful payment and registration, the candidate will be able to download the ACET 2019 welcome kit which contains the IAI login, a sample paper along with its indicative solution.

ACET Eligibility 2019

In order to be eligible for ACET registration, 2019 candidates need to meet the eligibility criteria as specified by Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). This means that the candidate should have successfully cleared his or her 10+2 or senior secondary education from a recognized state or central board in India. As ACET is a national-level examination, only candidates who are citizens and residents of India can carry out the ACET registration process.

ACET 2019 Registration Photograph Requirements

In order to complete the ACET registration 2019, candidates are required to upload a recently taken passport-sized photograph. This photograph features on the candidate’s ACET admit card 2019 and is used for candidate verification purposes. ACET Registration 2019 Photograph Guidelines



Upload recent passport-sized colored photograph with the dimensions: 4.5cm length * 3.5cm width.

Don’t upload a black and white photograph.

The photograph background should be white and the candidate should be wearing a dark shade.

The photograph shouldn’t have a dark background, the candidate shouldn’t be wearing dark glasses.

The photograph should fit within the given box.

The photograph should not be signed/attested.

The frontal view of the candidate’s entire face should be visible.

There should not be any distracting shadows on the candidate’s face or in the background.

The photograph should be clearly printed with a continuous-tone quality.

The candidate should not have hair covering his or her eyes.

The candidate should have a neutral expression on his or her face (no smiling, raised eyebrows or grinning).

Spectacle lens glare can be avoided with a slight upward or downward tilt of the candidate’s heard.

The candidate’s eyes should be open and both sides of the face must be visible.

The photograph shouldn’t be damaged (torn, creased or marked).

The resolution of the photo can be a maximum of 150 pixels * 150 pixels. The maximum photo size is 1MB and it should be in .png, .jpg, .bmp, .jpeg, .gif or .raw format.

The candidate’s head must not be covered (except in the case of religious purposes). Facial features like the top of the forehead and the bottom of the chin must be visible.

The candidate’s head should be in the centre of the photograph and both the ears should be visible.

The photograph must not be cut from group photographs.

ACET 2019 Registration Fee

In order to complete ACET registration 2019, candidates are required to pay a requisite fee which is equivalent to Rs.3,000. This payment includes the cost for the ACET 2019, one sample paper along with the indicative solution for the same. The ACET 2019 registration fee can only be paid via online payment methods which include net banking, debit card and credit card payments.

ACET Exam Centres 2019

Candidates who registered for ACET September 2019 have to choose the examination centre and city of their choice out of a list provided on the website. It may be noted that exam centre once opted could not be changed at anytime on or before August 16, 2019, i.e. before the last date of registration. ACET Admit card 2019

Candidates who registered for the September session of ACET 2019 were able to download their admit card/ hall ticket from September 4, 2019. The ACET 2019 admit card was available for download in the online mode. Candidates were required to login in order to download and take 2-3 prints of the same. Entry to the exam hall is not allowed without a valid admit card.
