Steps for ACET Registration 2021
Candidates have to follow certain steps for registering with IAI and appearing for the ACET 2021. One needs to follow a series of steps as provided below for ACET online registration:
Step 1- Visit the official website of IAI at actuariesindia.org.
Step 2- Click on the link to ACET 2021 registration as shown in the image below
Step 3- The following page will open wherein, candidates will be required to enter various personal details in order to sign up.
Step 4- After sign up, candidates will be required to enter certain details.
Step 5- The next step requires candidates to upload their photograph in the prescribed format as shown in the image below
Step 6- After submitting it all, candidates will be asked to confirm the details entered for one last time before saving.
Step 7- Now, candidates will be required to pay the ACET 2021 registration fee.
ACET 2021 Registration Fee
Candidates need to pay Rs 3,000 while registering for ACET 2021 in order to accomplish the process and appear in the actuarial entrance. Candidates have to pay the ACET 2021 registration fee in online mode only. As per the officials, the ACET registration fee includes the cost of one set of sample paper and its corresponding solutions as well.

ACET Registration 2021: Instructions regarding Photograph
Candidates need to take care of a few points before uploading their photograph during ACET 2021 registration. Uploading the correct photograph as per official instructions is a must, or otherwise, candidates will receive a mail or re-uploading the photograph. Given below is the table dealing with the Dos and Don'ts related with the photograph to be uploaded during ACET registration:

Upload recent passport-sized coloured photograph with Length- 4.5 cm and Width-3.5cm
No black-n-white photograph will be accepted
The photograph should have a plain white background
Photograph having a dark background
The dress should be dark in colour
Background common with dress or eyes were hidden due to coloured or dark glasses
The photograph should fit in the box provided
The photograph does not need to be attested
The front part of the face should be clear in the photograph
Any kind of shadows should not be there on the face
The photograph uploaded should be clear
Hair/glare on the glasses should not be hiding the candidate’s eyes
Candidate’s expressions in the photograph should be calm and normal
There should be no grinning/ frowning expression
Eyes must be open and both left and right edge of the face should be clearly visible
The photograph shouldn’t be damaged (torn/ creased/ marked)
Minimum resolution of the photograph should be 150*150 px and the size should not exceed 1 MB (File format- .png, .jpg, .bmp, .jpeg, .gif, .raw)
Covering the head is not allowed except for religious reasons, provided that even in such exceptional cases, the complete face should be visible
Head should be in the mid of photograph with both the ears visible
Photograph extracted from a group photograph is not acceptable
ACET 2021 Exam Centres
Candidates registering for ACET 2021 had to select out of a list of cities of their choice as per convenience. IAI had provided the list of 24 cities across India where ACET exam is conducted. As per the options selected and availability of seats, registered aspirants are allotted ACET exam centres 2021 which is reflected through their admit cards. It may be noted that once the ACET 2021 exam centre is allotted through ACET admit card, no changes can be made to the same and no requests will be accepted by IAI in this concern.

Should I pursue BA Eco or BA Eco Honours from DU if i want to pursue acturial science along with it? (I am a PCM student without economics in +2)
Actuarial science is a difficult course and would need all your focus and attention. However, if you want to pursue a degree in economics you can go for any of the two.
There's is not much difference between BA economics and BA economics honours , except the later has a more in depth curriculum.
So you can choose the degree that suits you best!

I have given my ACET EXAM on 10 October and the result is still awaited. But Im confused as to whether to pursue this course or not? I dont know if I can do that or not? Does it requires lot of travelling?
ACET is Actuarial Common Entrance Test which is conducted by IAI. If you want to enroll as student members of IAI so you can go for this.
After cleaning ACET you have to clear 15papers prescribed by IAI to be awarded by FIAI. It could take 4 to 6 years to clear all 15 papers.
It's a very good department but choice is totally yours.
If you want then go for it and if you not then decision is your.
