ACET Registration 2020 - The Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) has extended the last date of ACET 2020 registration for February session till Feb 7. Candidates interested or already planning to pursue the course of actuarial sciences may go for ACET registration 2020 in online mode on the official IAI website. Candidates need to provide basic details like that of academics, etc. and upload the requisite documents as well during ACET exam registration. Specific instructions are provided by the officials regarding the format of photographs to be uploaded during ACET registration 2020 like dimensions, clarity,etc. The ACET application form 2020 will be deemed complete when the registration fee of Rs 3,000 is submitted. ACET Registration Process

Candidates have to follow certain steps for registering with IAI and appearing for the ACET 2020. One needs to follow a series of steps as provided below for ACET online registration:

Step 1- Visit the official website of IAI at

Step 2- Click on the link to ACET 2020 registration as shown in the image below

Step 3- The following page will open wherein, candidates will be required to enter various personal details in order to sign up.

Step 4- After sign up, candidates will be required to enter certain details.

Step 5- The next step requires candidates to upload their photograph in the prescribed format as shown in the image below

Step 6- Afer submitting it all, candidates will be asked to confirm the details entered for one last time before saving.

Step 7- Now, candidates will be required to pay the ACET 2020 registration fee .

ACET Registration Fee

Candidates need to pay Rs 3,000 in the name of registration fee for ACET 2020 in order to appear accomplish the process and appear in the actuarial entrance. Candidates have to pay the ACET 2020 registration fee in online mode only. As per the officials, the ACET registration fee includes the cost of one set of sample paper and its corresponding solution as well.

ACET Registration: Instructions regarding Photograph

Candidates need to take care of a few points before uploading their photograph during ACET 2020 registration. Uploading the correct photograph as per official instructions is a must, or otherwise candidates will receive a mail or re-uploading the photograph. Given below is the table dealing with the Dos and Don'ts related with the photograph to be uploaded during ACET registration:

Upload recent passport sized colored photograph with Length- 4.5 cm and Width-

No black-n-white photograph will be accepted

Photograph should have plain white background

Photograph having dark background

Dress should be dark in color

Background common with dress or eyes hidden due to colored or dark glasses

Photograph should fit in the box provided

Photograph does not need to be attested

Front part of the face should be clear in the photograph

Any kind of shadows should not be there on face

The photograph uploaded should be clear

Hair / glare on the glasses should not be hiding candidate’s eyes

Candidate’s expressions in the photograph should be calm and normal

There should be no grinning/ frowning expression

Eyes must be open and both left and right edge of the face should be clearly visible

Photograph shouldn’t be damaged (torn/ creased/ marked)

Minimum resolution of the photograph should be 150*150 px and the size should not exceed 1 MB (File format- .png, .jpg, .bmp, .jpeg, .gif, .raw)

Covering the head is not allowed except for religious reasons, provided that even in such exceptional cases, complete face should be visible

Head should be in the mid of photograph with both the ears visible

Photograph extracted from a group photograph is not acceptable

ACET 2020 Exam Centres

Those candidates registering for ACET 2020 will have to select out of a list of cities of their choice as per convenience. IAI has provided the list of 24 cities across India where ACET exam is conducted. As per the options selected and availability of seats, registered aspirants are allotted ACET exam centres 2020 which is reflected through their admit cards. It may be noted that once the ACET 2020 exam centre is allotted through admit card, no changes can be made to the same and no requests will be accepted by IAI in this concern.

How is AEC when compared to ACET and ACOE?

Hello aspirant, if you meant the codes were engineering colleges of aditya group in Andhra pradesh, I prefer AEC as it is autonomous college and it has higher standards than all the other colleges, the order is ACET and finally ACOE. The infrastcture is same for all these colleges, but the faculty change for the 3 colleges, you must always opt for the best one -AEC.

The Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) has announced the schedule for February session of ACET 2020. Registrations for the same started on December 5 (3 P.M.) and the last date to register is January 28, 2020. The ACET exam fro February 2020 session will be conducted on February 29 and admit cards for the same will be released on February 12, 2020.
