ACET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Before IAI exam registration, candidates must check the ACET eligibility criteria. The Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) provides the eligibility criteria officially which can be checked by candidates on its website. Given below is the eligibility criteria of ACET 2025 exams that can be referred by candidates before filling the application form.

ACET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

  • No age limit restriction is applicable in registering for ACET exam.

  • Candidates must have passed/ appeared in Class 12 or equivalent examination. It is mandatory to have studied English as a subject in their qualifying exam.

  • Candidates who have completed their graduation/ postgraduation or completed engineering, management, CA or CS degree in Mathematics are also eligible to apply for the ACET examination.

  • Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for ACET 2025 exam.

How to complete ACET Registration 2025

Candidates can follow the given steps to register for the ACET 2025 exams. The actuarial science registration process can be completed in online mode and candidates do not need to send any physical documents to the authorities.

Step 1: Go to the official website of IAI i.e. actuariesindia.org

Step 2: Click on the “ACET Registration 2025”

Step 3: Sign up by entering the required ACET exam registration details

Step 4: Login using the ACET student credentials and fill the ACET application form

Step 5: Upload documents and download the receipt

Step 1- Go to the official website of IAI i.e. actuariesindia.org

The very first step of ACET registration is to visit the official website of IAI and check the eligibility criteria. IAI prescribes the eligibility for ACET exam officially.

Step 2- Click on the “ACET Registration 2025”

Look for the link “ACET Registration 2025” or go to the link given above on this page. You will be redirected to the official registration page of ACET. A Window similar to the image given below will appear on the screen.

Step 3- Sign up by entering the required details

Candidates registering for the ACET exam need to enter their personal details to get the login credentials from IAI.

Step 4- Login using the ACET student credentials and fill the ACET application form

Once the login credentials are received, login using the same to proceed with the ACET registration. While filling the application form, candidates have the fill the following details-

  • Personal details - Name, father’s name, gender, date of birth

  • Residential and permanent address - Flat number, name of premises, locality, area, city, pincode

  • Contact details - mobile number, email ID

  • Educational details - SSC year of passing, HSC year of passing, Institute name, employment status, current industry, family income and so on.

Step 5- Upload documents

Once done with filling details, the next step is to upload the required documents as per specifications. Before submitting the application form, make sure to check that all the details are correct. Once the ACET application form is submitted no subsequent changes are possible thereafter.

Upon successful submission of ACET registration form, an e-mail at your registered e-mail address confirming your registration will be sent immediately by IAI. In case, you do not receive it, contact the authorities. It is advisable to take a printout of your ACET 2025 registration form.

ACET 2025 Registration Fees

Earlier, candidates had to pay the registration fee for the entrance exam which is Rs. 3,000 (three thousand only). This amount covered the cost of sample question paper, indicative solution as well as the exam fees. However, IAI may now announce no registration fee will be required for the ACET 2025 exam. The ACET May 2025 registration is free for students.

No black and white photograph will be accepted

Candidate’s expressions in the photograph should be calm and normal

There should be no grinning/ frowning expression

Eyes must be open and both left and right edge of the face should be clearly visible

The photograph shouldn’t be damaged (torn/ creased/ marked)

Minimum resolution of the photograph should be 150*150 px and the size should not exceed 1 MB (File format- .png, .jpg, .bmp, .jpeg, .gif, .raw)

Covering the head is not allowed except for religious reasons, provided that even in such exceptional cases, the complete face should be visible

Head should be in the mid of photograph with both ears visible

Photograph extracted from a group photograph is not acceptable

What After ACET Registration
