ACET Exam Passing Criteria 2020 - The concerned authorities of Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) set the ACET 2020 exam passing criteria which prove to be the benchmark to be complied with by prospective candidates. A candidate who does not fulfill the conditions of ACET exam passing criteria 2020 is not deemed qualified, and thus, is not eligible to apply for IAI student membership and pursue the course of actuarial sciences. The authorities are going to conduct upcoming session of ACET 2020 on February 29, 2020. Thus, a candidate who scores at least 50% marks in the ACET exam complying with ACET exam passing criteria will be eligible to register as IAI student within 3 years of result declaration. As 50 marks is the ACET cut off 2020, candidates may refer the article below for more incidental information.

Latest: ACET 2020 admit card for February session will be available from February 15.

ACET Result 2020

The authorities will announce ACET result for February 2020 session on March 7 in online mode. Prospective candidates must view the ACET 2020 result in order to determine whether they meet the ACET 2020 exam passing criteria. As the exam carries maximum marks of 100, the ACET exam passing criteria 2020 is 50% of the maximum marks and therefore is equivalent to 50 marks. The 50 mark point is also referred to as the ACET 2020 cut off and the respective qualifying candidates need to obtain marks above the cut off in order to be eligible for membership and student status with the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI).

Along with the ACET 2020 result, the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) also releases a list of the students who have scored the highest marks in the exam as well as a list of students who are eligible for the fellowship program which is yet to be released. These students meet the ACET exam passing criteria 2020 and are required to register for IAI membership.

After Meeting the ACET Cut off 2020

Candidates who meet the exam passing criteria and clear the requisite ACET cut off 2020 of 50 marks are required to undergo the registration process for the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). Subsequent to successful registration, candidates will be granted membership as well as student status with IAI after which they will be able to sit for other actuarial exams conducted by IAI. These actuarial exams provide professional attestations and qualifications for individuals who want to pursue a career in the actuarial sciences and are of 4 different types of both theoretical and practical nature, which are:

  • Stage 1: Core Technical (CT)

  • Stage 2: Core Application (CA)

  • Stage 3: Specialist Technical (ST)

  • Stage 4: Specialist Application (SA)

In order to register for membership with Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI), candidates need to fill out the membership form and also provide the official document proof for fulfilling the ACET 2020 eligibility. The ACET eligibility 2020 requirement is that candidates should have completed their senior secondary or 10+2 standard examinations from a recognized state or central board in India. It is a national-level examination, therefore only Indian graduates are permitted to appear for ACET 2020. After qualifying and meeting the ACET exam passing criteria 2020, candidates need to provide official documentation and proof from their senior secondary board examinations for verification.

ACET 2020 Result Validity

The ACET result 2020 is valid for 3 years from the date of declaration. This means that candidates who meet the ACET 2020 cut off and exam passing criteria can register for Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) membership for up to three years after the date of result declaration. In case the student does not apply or register for membership with the Institute of Actuaries of India, then he or she will have to appear for ACET again.

How is AEC when compared to ACET and ACOE?

niharika cherry 20th Jan, 2020

Hello aspirant, if you meant the codes were engineering colleges of aditya group in Andhra pradesh, I prefer AEC as it is autonomous college and it has higher standards than all the other colleges, the order is ACET and finally ACOE. The infrastcture is same for all these colleges, but the faculty change for the 3 colleges, you must always opt for the best one -AEC.

thank you.
