Question 1: Will CS Foundation exams be discontinued after the introduction of CSEET 2020?
Answer: Yes, the admissions to the CS Foundation programme have been discontinued. Aspirants must clear CSEET in order to register for the CS Executive programme. Candidates already registered to the CS Foundation programme can take the examinations for the same for three years of their registration dates.
Question 2: When will CSEET 2020 be conducted?
Answer: CSEET 2020 is scheduled to be conducted on July 17, 2020.
Question 3: Is there a set schedule for the conduction of CSEET?

Question 4: Can candidates make changes in the examination data like exam centres, medium and modules. If yes then when?
Answer: Candidates can submit requests to make changes in the examination enrollment details 30 days before the exam commences. Earlier, candidates could do so before 15 days.

Question 1: How to register for CSEET 2020?
Answer: Follow the instructions provided below to fill CSEET 2020 registration form -
Go to the official website - icsi.edu
Click on the ‘Online Services’ option
Now click on the CSEET registration link
Fill in the basic information like personal details, academic details, etc. and click on the ‘Next’ button
Fill in the fee details and proceed by clicking on the ‘Next’ button
Upload the required documents and proceed
You’ll be able to preview your application in the next step
Click on the ‘Confirm Application’ once you’ve previewed
Move to the payment step and select your mode of payment
A transaction ID will be generated, note it down for future references
Once the fee has been paid, you will be intimated about your registration on email/ sms
Question 2: What are the documents required for the registration of CSEET?
Answer: Candidates will be required to upload the following documents while filling the registration form of CSEET -
Scanned image of photograph (20kb to 50kb)
Scanned image of signature (10kb to 20kb)
DOB certificate (10th pass certificate)
Admit card of class 12th (if appearing)
Class 12th passing certificate/ mark sheet
Category certificate (for concession in fees)
Identity proof like Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Passport, Voter ID, or driving license
*Note - The documents must be uploaded in jpg, jpeg, png, gif, bmp, or pdf format. The file size must not be over 2 mb except for documents for which the size has been specified separately.

Question 4: Will reserved category candidates get any concession in the CSEET registration fee?
Answer: Candidates will get the following percentage of concession as per their category -

Students from North Eastern States, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Lakshadweep (similar scheme is being introduced for the Students of Himachal Pradesh)

Question 5: Can students provisionally register for the CS Executive programme?
Answer: No, provisional registration has been discontinued.
Question 6: If my registration expires before June or December and I have already registered for the programmes, can I still fill the examination forms?
Answer: No, such candidates will have to file a Denovo Registration, following which they can fill the exam forms.
Question 7: Has the Extension of Registration been discontinued?
Answer: Yes, the extension of registration is no longer valid. However, they must keep their registration valid for each stage until they become members of the Institute. Candidates who have not passed the CS Professional programme must renew their registrations through denovo and those who have passed it must renew it through ‘Continuation of Registration’.
Question 8: What is the fee for ‘Continuation of Registration’?
Answer: Rs. 1000/- per year.
Question 9: What is the last date to register for CSEET 2020?
Answer: The last date to register for CSEET is June 15, 2020. Registrations started on February 5, 2020.
CSEET FAQs 2020 - Syllabus & Exam Pattern
ICSI has set the syllabus and exam pattern of the new CS Executive Entrance Test. The questions related to CSEET syllabus and exam pattern are provided below.
Question 1: What are the subjects in CSEET?
Answer: CSEET is a single test and will have the following subjects.
Legal Aptitude & Logical Reasoning
Economic and Business Environment
Presentation and Communication Skills (viva voce)
Question 2: In what mode would CSEET be conducted?
Answer: CSEET is an online computer-based test. The test will be conducted for a total of 200 marks and it will include MCQs, audio clips, video clips, and descriptive questions.
Question 3: What is the time allotted to attempt CSEET?
Answer: Candidates will be given 135 minutes (120 minutes for computer-based test and 15 minutes for viva voce) to attempt the test.
Question 4: Is there negative marking in CSEET 2020?
Answer: No, there is no negative marking in CSEET.
Question 5: Will viva voce be a part of paper 4 - current affairs, presentation and communication skills?
Answer: There is no division of papers in CSEET. Current affairs will be a part of the online test. Viva voce will be conducted for additional 15 minutes which are not included in the duration of the online test.

Answer: Candidates must enter their registration numbers followed by the suffix ‘@icsi.edu’ while logging in for the online classes.

Question 4: How do I access the ICSI e-learning portal?
Answer: Go to the ‘Student’ tab and you will find the e-learning option. Log in using your registration number suffixed with ‘@icsi.edu’.
Question 5: What are the technical requirements for the e-learning portal?
Answer: Students must have a good internet connection (speed 4 mbps) and updated browsers. Students are also advised to clear their cache memory from time to time.

Question 1: When will the result of CSEET 2020 be declared?
Answer: The result of the CSEET May 2020 session is expected in the month of June. For every other cycle of the exam, the result will be declared by the last week of the same month in which the exam has been conducted.

I am a graduate and want to join CS. While filling up Educational Qualification in CSEET form, I cannot see Graduate option in pop up. So shall I choose 1o+2 passed option? Similarly, Which document should I attach for it? 12th or B Com markheet?

CS Executive Entrance Test(CSEET) is scheduled to be held on 28th May. The online application forms for same were released on 5th Feb 2020 and are open till 5th May 2020. The exam will be held on 28th May.
The result is scheduled to be out on 7th July 2020.
