Register for CA Foundation exam by creating an account
Log in to the account to fill the application form of CA Foundation
Fill and submit CA Foundation application form
Make the online payment of CA Foundation application fee using Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking
Take a printout of duly filled application form
If the photograph or/and signature doesn't appear in the printout, then send the printout of online application form to ICAI
To send printout, affix two latest passport size coloured photographs- one attested and one non-attested. Sign at designated place on the printout of application form, if signature doesn't appear, and get it countersigned by parents/guardian. Finally, get the CA Foundation application form attested by a Chartered Accountant or a Gazetted Officer or Principal of School/College and send the printout by Hand/Speed Post/Registered Post to the official address mentioned below -

CA Foundation Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination) or equivalent exam conducted by a body constituted under Indian law or recognized by Central Government; and
Candidates registered for Foundation Course with the Boards of Studies after appearing in 10+2 examination and have undergone at least four months of study period under Foundation course, Or If already registered under CPT course (old scheme), the candidate must have converted to CA Foundation course on or before February 1, 2018.
- Candidates completed graduation or post-graduation in Commerce and have secured at least 55% in aggregate in the exam conducted by a recognized university (including open university) are exempted from appearing in CA Foundation exam. They can directly enrol in next level of CA.
- Candidates completed bachelor or masters degree in a stream other than commerce from a recognized university (including from open university) and secured at least 60% marks in aggregate are also exempted. They can directly enrol in next level of CA.
