The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has opened the ACCA June 2024 registration from February 6, 2024. Currently, the ACCA registration for the June 2024 session is open till April 29, 2024. ACCA March 2024 results were announced on April 15, 2024. The ACCA June 2024 exams are scheduled to be held from June 3 to 7, 2024. ACCA session-based exam takes place four times a year in the months of March, June, September and December for over 5 days in each session.
Aspirants who have passed the 10th standard examination are eligible to apply for ACCA course. To achieve the ACCA Qualification, aspirants will need to complete all 13 exams, an ethics module and practical experience.
ACCA is a three-level examination which covers Knowledge, Skills and Professionals and includes thirteen subjects. Students who have passed the 12th standard or graduation examination can avail of various ACCA exemptions from appearing in some ACCA subjects. BCom or MCom degree candidates will need to sit only for nine exams instead of thirteen and students with CA will need to sit for four exams instead of thirteen. Aspirants of ACCA can expect a salary ranging between Rs. 7 to 8 LPA after completing ACCA.

The exam authority prescribes the following eligibility criteria for ACCA course. The basic eligibility criteria to pursue ACCA is mentioned below:
Class 10th pass students can apply for ACCA course. However, candidates will have to pursue a Diploma course for ACCA Foundation to apply for ACCA qualification which is the main ACCA certification exam
Class 12th students with more than 65% in Accounts, English, and Mathematics subjects can apply for ACCA course. Additionally, students should have more than 50% in the other subjects.
The following category of students has an exemption to appear in various ACCA exams.
Class 12 pass students will be exempted from the Foundational Diploma course of ACCA. Diploma in ACCA Foundation exam is for students who have no formal education.
B.Com or M.Com pass candidates will be exempted from ACCA Knowledge level exams like Business & Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA), and Financial Accounting (FA). Additionally, they will also be exempted from the Corporate and Business Law Exam of Skill Level Exam.
Chartered Accountancy pass students will have nine papers exempted from a total of thirteen subjects. Skill Level and Knowledge Level exams will be completely exempted. CA pass candidates will have to give only the four exams at the Professional Level.
CA Inter pass students will have to sit only for eight exams in ACCA. Such candidates will be exempted from four exams which are Business & Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Accounting, Taxation, Audit and Assurance.
The registration for ACCA exam is online. Aspirants can take admission to ACCA course just after class 10th. However, Class 10th pass students will have to complete a Diploma course before starting on the main ACCA course.
Candidates can register online for ACCA courses at any time of the year. Following steps can be followed to register as ACCA student:

Step 2 - Before getting started, keep all the necessary documents ready including passport, birth certificate, qualifying exam proofs, passport-size photograph, payment cards.
Step 3 - Register using the valid email ID credentials and personal details
Step 4 - Upload all the supporting documents
Step 5 - Claim provisional exemptions (if any) immediately after completing your application
Step 6 - Save the application form and keep it safe for any future references
Once the application form is submitted, ACCA will confirm at which level the candidate will have to progress studies. If a candidate is not able to apply online, the application form will have to be submitted in paper form at the nearest ACCA office.
The first four ACCA exams (BT, MA, FA, and LW) are on-demand, which means those can be booked with an approved nearby ACCA centre any time during the year. The remaining nine exams are conducted four times a year in the months of March, June, September, and December.
The exam pattern of ACCA exam has two parts:
Computer-based and Paper-based, which include Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and
Scenario-based questions.
Papers F1 to F4 are 100% MCQ based. A total of 50 questions are asked for 2 marks each.
Papers F5 to F9 are 60% MCQs and 40% long answer questionsÂÂÂ.
Section A has 15 questions, 2 marks each and,
Section B comprises 3 scenario questions worth 15 marks. Each scenario has 5 MCQs under it.
In long answer type questions: A scenario will be given and 3 to 4 questions will be asked on its basis.
Papers P1 to P6 are 100% scenario based exams.
Section A : A case study worth 50 marks will be given and 4 to 5 questions will be asked on it. It also includes 4 to 6 professional marks also.
Section B: 3 cases worth 25 marks each will be given. 2 out of the 3 will have to be attempted.

The ACCA exam authorities issue the exam attendance dockets for each session which will be available to download three weeks before the first exam. Candidates need to take the print out of the docket as it is required as part of the check-in or launch exam process.

Candidates for ACCA exam have two options to take exams: remote or centre-based exam.
