The Indian Institute of Banking and Finance conducts CAIIB exam twice a year. CAIIB stands for Certified Associate of Indian Institute of Banking and Finance. CAIIB exam 2025 will be conducted in June and December. CAIIB 2025 exam has four compulsory subjects Advanced Bank Management, Bank Financial Management, Advanced Business & Financial Management and Banking Regulations and Business Laws. IIBF has specified the CAIIB eligibility criteria 2025 on its official website. Candidates must check the CAIIB eligibility criteria 2025 before applying for the exam. The detailed CAIIB eligibility 2025 has been given below:
Candidates must be a member of the Indian Institute of Banking Finance (IIBF).
Candidates must have complete the JAIIB exam or Part 1 of the Associate Examination.
Candidate’s membership subscription must not be in arrears.
IIBF opens the CAIB exam registration window twice a year for a period of 21 days. The CAIIB Dec 2025 exam registration window will open on September 2, 2025. The CAIIB exam registration is open for three weeks. In the first week of registration, candidates are not required to pay any late fee, while in the second and third week of registration, candidates must pay a late fee of Rs 100 and 200 for registration. Read the rules/eligibility/instructions carefully.
Select “CAIIB” examination from list of examination and proceed further.
Log on with your membership number and password.
Fill in all the required personal, academic, professional and communication details.
Click on “preview” button and check all the details entered by you.
Select your preferred “Payment” option and proceed to the payment of the registration fee.
Upon successful payment of application fee, candidates will receive transaction confirmation on their registered email id and mobile number.

Along with the syllabus, candidates must also be well versed with the CAIIB 2025 exam pattern. Candidates who will fulfill the CAIIB exam passing criteria will complete the exam. To complete an exam, a candidate must pass all the four compulsory subjects and one elective subject from the list of five subjects. The detailed CAIIB passing criteria 2025 has been given below:
Candidates must get 50 marks out of 100 in each subject to be deemed passed.
Candidates who will get more than 45 marks in each subject and equal or more than 50% aggregate marks in a single attempt will also be deemed to have completed the exam.
Candidates who will pass one or more subjects in one attempt but could not pass all the subjects can retain the credits for the future attempts of the exam. This means they will be exempted for the particular subject in the future attempts.
Candidates must complete all the five exams in five attempts or three years, whichever comes early.
The CAIIB exam results 2025 are released after four days of the conclusion of any exam. The CAIIB exam results can be checked at the official website - iibf.org.in. IIBF releases the provisional scorecard of CAIIB for each subject in online mode only. Candidates will be also be able to download their CAIIB provisional score cards through the official website of IIBF.
