CMA Foundation 2019 - The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has rescheduled the postponed exams of CMA Foundation in the North-East states. The Institute had released the CMA Foundation admit card for December exams on November 28, 2019. The institute is conducting the CMA Foundation exams for December session. The ICWAI exam application last date was extended to October 14, 2019 for December session. The offline exams are being held for 3 hours each between December 10 and 13. Candidates aspiring to become ‘Cost Accountants’ have to register with the institute before last date, which was July 31 for CMA Foundation December 2019 session. The concerned authorities have provided a certain set of eligibility requisites which the aspiring candidates have to comply with. It may be noted that mere registration into the course doesn’t guarantee the candidate’s right to appear for exams. Those who do not fulfill the requirements are not allowed to register in ICMAI CMA Foundation exams. The table below shows as to who can register and appear in CMA Foundation 2019.

The registration process for CMA Foundation 2019 is kept open throughout the year, however, there is a cutoff date before each session of exams. For December 2019, candidates could accomplish ICMAI CMA Foundation registration before August 9 (extended date). Usually, there is a fixed last date for each session, ie, January 31 for June term and July 31 for December term of exams. The CMA Foundation 2019 registration fees is Rs 4000 to be paid before cutoff dates of either of the sessions respectively.
Documents required at the time of CMA Foundation registration are:
Attested Copy of Matriculation Certificate
Attested copy of 10+2 Certificate or Marks Statement
3 passport size photographs.
The CMA Foundation exam application form was available online for candidates willing to appear in December 2019 session. The ICWAI exam application last date was extended to October 14, which was earlier destined to be till October 10, 2019. It may be noted that only CMA Foundation registered candidates were eligible to fill the CMA exam form. It may be noted that those applying for overseas exam centre have to apply offline and payment has to be made through demand draft. Candidates of ICMAI CMA Foundation have to pay the application fee of Rs 1200 for Indian exam centres, while those who opt for overseas centres have to pay US$ 60.
ICMAI has released the CMA Foundation 2019 admit card on November 28, 2019. Candidates appearing for the exams will be able to download the same in online mode by entering their registration ID. The CMA Foundation December 2019 admit card shall contain candidate’s details, roll number, exam centre code and address, term of examination, etc. It is mandatory to carry a print out of this admit card in the exam hall for all exam days as entry will not be allowed otherwise.
There are 95 domestic and 3 overseas exam centres for CMA Foundation December 2019 session. Bikaner (Rajasthan) is the latest added CMA Foundation 2019 exam centre. A candidate has to score at least 200 marks in the CMA Foundation December 2019 exams and pass the papers separately as well. There are three levels of exams which a candidate aspiring to become a CMA has to pass. The first level is Foundation having 4 papers, followed by Intermediate and then Final, both having 8 papers. Having passed all the exams makes one eligible to become a Cost Accountant.
