    About ACET 2026

    The Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) has announced the ACET March 2025 dates through an official notification on its official website. The online registration for ACET March 2025 has started on January 22, 2025. The deadline to register is February 22, 2025 up to 6 PM. ACET March 2025 exam would be conducted on March 9, 2025. The ACET March 2025 results will be declared on March 15, 2025.

    Students who have completed Class 12 with English as one of the subjects are eligible to apply for ACET March 2025. The online-based entrance exam comprises five sections namely mathematics, statistics, data interpretation, English and logical reasoning. ACET is 3 hours duration exam. A total of 70 questions of multiple-choice questions type are asked in the examination.

    What is ACET Exam?

    Actuarial Common Entrance Test (ACET) is conducted by the Institute of Actuaries of India twice a year to screen students for admission to actuarial science courses offered by the Institute. ACET result is valid for a period of three years from the date of declaration of the result. Candidates who qualify ACET exam become eligible to apply for the IAI membership to apply and pursue actuarial courses.

    ACET Important Dates

    ACET Actuarial Common Entrance Test (session 2026)

    ACET application form March 2025 has been opened on January 22, 2025. The last date to register is February 22, 2025. The application form can be accessed at the official website of IAI. There is no registration fee for ACET March 2025 exam. As part of the online application process, the candidates are required to go through a number of steps as mentioned below.

    How to fill ACET 2025 application form?

    1.  Registration - The first step in the application process is registration. As part of the ACET 2025 registration process, candidates need to enter their name, email id, DOB, ad gender. They will also need to enter and confirm a password for the new applicant account. Enter your passport, PAN or Aadhaar card number and finally submit the details to complete registration. 
    2. Fill the form: Candidates will also be required to enter their personal, and academic details and contact details.
    3. Upload photograph and enter personal details - In this step upload a recent passport-size colour photograph (4.5 cm length x 3.5 cm width). The photo resolution should be 150px *150px with a size not more than 1MB to be saved only in (.png, .jpg, .bmp, .jpeg, .gif, .raw) format. 
    4. Select Exam City - Candidates do not need to select the exam city as the exam will be conducted in a home-based mode.
    5. Submit the form - Check the application form and ensure it is complete in all respects before submitting it. After submitting the form, the candidate will be able to download the Welcome Kit of one Sample Question Paper, Indicative Solution from their login.

    Admission to the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) is conducted through two channels. One is through the ACET entrance exam and the other is the non-ACET route. In case of candidates seeking admission through the ACET exam, they need to meet the ACET 2025 eligibility criteria which have been elucidated below.

Candidates can access their ACET scorecards from their registered accounts. The result of ACET 2025 will remain valid for three years from the date of declaration. Within this 3-year period, the candidate have to take student membership of IAI, failing which the ACET 2025 result would become invalid.
