The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will announce the ICAI CA Sep 2025 results tentatively in the first week of November 2025. The CA Sep 2025 result date and time will be notified by ICAI in an official notification. The institute will also publish the ICAI pass percentage 2025 and the list of toppers along with the CA Sep 2025 results. Candidates can check their results on the official website icai.nic.in. To access the ICAI CA results Sep 2025, aspirants need to enter their registration and roll numbers.
The CA course consists of three exams, namely, CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final. Candidates must clear all three programmes to become a chartered accountant. The exams are now being conducted under the new ICAI scheme where the candidates are also required to complete some modules and clear the CA exam results. As per a notification by ICAI, the CA Foundation and CA Inter will be held thrice a year. There is no change in the frequency of the CA Final exams.

The minimum marks required by candidates to qualify for the next stage are called the passing criteria. For the Chartered Accountant exams, ICAI has finalised the passing criteria beforehand. All candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% marks in a single subject and 50% in aggregate.

ICAI will also release the pass percentage of CA exams after the declaration of the results. The CA pass percentage informs about the number of candidates who appear for the test, the pass percentage in each group and the overall pass percentage. The pass percentage (Number of students passing a level of CA exam in a session) CA Final, Inter and Foundation remains very low due to the difficulty of these exams.

Along with the results, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) also releases the merit list of each CA programme. For the Sep 2025 session exams, the merit list of ICAI 2025 will be released in online mode. The merit list mentions the names of the top 50 candidates (rank holders). Candidates will be required to enter their registration number/roll number and the security code to check the ICAI merit list 2025.
