The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has published the CA Foundation January 2026 pass percentage on March 8, 2026, shortly after declaring the results. As per the CA Foundation pass percentage 2026, 21,099 candidates out of 1,09,694 passed the CA Foundation exam. The pass rate of male and female candidates is 20.13% and 18.26%, respectively. The total marks for all the papers combined in the CA Foundation is 400 marks, where each paper is 100 marks. To be deemed passed, candidates are required to score at least 40% marks in each subject and an aggregate of 50% in all four papers.
The CA Foundation is one of the most difficult entry-level professional examinations in India. The average overall pass percentage hovers around 15 to 25%. Many CA Foundation toppers suggest that preparations for this exam must be done through mock tests, previous year question papers, and discipline.
