Get UpdatesThe Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the new cut off dates for CA Foundation registration 2024. As per the new notification released by ICAI, CA Foundation exam would now be held thrice a year in the months of May/June, September and January. Candidates are required to be registered with Board of Studies atleast 4 months before the exam. The CA Foundation registration September 2024 are open till May 1, 2024. ICAI closed the CA Foundation registration for June 2024 session on February 1, 2024. It will conduct the CA Foundation exam for June 2024 session from June 20-26, 2024. Candidates could fill up the CA Foundation exam form from February 2, 2024 till February 23, 2024 without paying late fee and until March 2 with late fee.

Earlier, ICAI had declared the CA Foundation Dec 2023 result on, February 7, 2024 along with CA Foundation pass percentage. . The CA Foundation June 2024 will be conducted as per the new scheme. It would be the first CA Foundation exam to be conducted under the new scheme of education and training that became effective from July 1 last year. CA Foundation exams is open throughout the year, it is advisable to check the registration cutoff dates as pre-defined by ICAI. ICAI conducts the CA Foundation twice a year. It is the first of the three levels of the Chartered Accountancy course.
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India had released the new scheme of education and training for CA Foundation on June 23, 2023. The new scheme of education for CA Foundation exam became applicable from July 1, 2023. Candidates could register for CA Foundation new scheme exam from August 2, 2023. Candidates who have registered for Foundation exam before July 1 will be able to convert their syllabus to new syllabus given that the candidate fulfills conditions specified by ICAI. The registration of CA Foundation will be valid upto a period of four years. From the May/June 2024 session of CA Foundation , the exam will be held three times a year in the months of January, May/June, and September. Let us look at some of the changes in the syllabus and pattern under the new scheme:
It must be noted that these are proposed changes and the finalised changes will be notified in the new syllabus that will be released by ICAI.
What is CA Foundation Exam?
The entry level for Chartered Accountancy Course is the CA Foundation course. CA Foundation has 4 papers out of which two are objective and two subjective. The CA Foundation exam is held twice a year - in June and December. Students who have registered for the Foundation course must also apply for the CA Foundation exam.
Exam Pattern of CA Foundation
There are four papers in the CA Foundation exam. Each paper has 100 questions.
CA Foundation Qualifying Marks:
To quality CA Foundation exam level, candidates need to secure a minimum of 40% marks in each paper and an aggregate of 50% in all papers.

ICAI prescribes the CA Foundation eligibility criteria on its official website. Candidates who want to register for the CA Foundation exam must check the official eligibility criteria. Details related to the qualifying marks, age limit, nationality and related are mentioned under the eligibility criteria.
Note: Four months study period is required for all candidates before appearing in CA Foundation exam.

The exam form for CA Foundation 2024 exam for June 2024 has been released on February 2, 2024. Candidates can fill up the form in online mode. ICAI has a centralised self-service portal whereby candidates can easily register themselves and submit self-attested documents. The last date to apply was February 23 without late fee and March 2 with late fee.
The CA Foundation exam will now be conducted thrice in a year in May/June, September 2024, and January. The institute is expected to open the CA Foundation exam form September 2024 soon. The registration process continues throughout the year. However, candidates must keep track of the deadline for registration. The CA Foundation registration for September 2024 will close on May 1, 2024.

ICAI conducts mock tests before every exam session. The dates of CA Foundation mock test for December session will be notified to interested candidates on official website of ICAI - BoS Knowledge Portal. Candidates can download the CA Foundation mock test and prepare for the CA Foundation exam 2024. The institute will provide answers to the mock tests within 48 hours of the exam.

ICAI will release the CA Foundation 2024 admit card for the June 2024 session tentatively two weeks befor the exam. Candidates can download the admit card in online mode from the official website - eservices.icai.org. The CA Foundation admit card is available for download under the candidate's login. Candidates can login using the student registration number and password. ICAI admit card CA Foundation is mandatory to carry to the examination hall along with an ID proof.
ICAI CA Foundation admit card is an important document that should be downloaded by all candidates who will appear in the exam. Candidates who reach the exam centre without carrying a physical copy of the CA Foundation 2024 admit card will not be allowed to enter in the exam centre. Along with the ICAI admit card, candidates must also carry any one government ID card and two passport size photographs.
Registered candidates can fill the exam form in online mode. ICAI releases the exam form of CA Foundation a few days before conducting the CA Foundation exam. For the June 2024 session, ICAI will open the exam form window from February 2, 2024.Candidates who want to appear in the CA Foundation exam for any session (May/ December) must mandatorily fill the exam form on the official website of ICAI - icaiexam.icai.org.
The exam form with late fee will be available till March 2, 2024. The June 2024 session correction window will be open from March 3-9, 2024. Candidates who wish to make changes in their respective forms can rectify the errors on the exam form for the CA foundation.

ICAI officially released the list of CA foundation exam centres for the May 2024 exams. The CA Foundation 2024 exams will be conducted across 290 Indian test cities and 8 international locations.
While filling the CA Foundation exam form, candidates have the option to choose their 3 most preferred exam centres for CA Foundation 2024.
ICAI releases the CA Foundation June 2024 result tentatively 45 days after the date of exam The CA Foundation result cum scorecard has been released by ICAI on the official website i.e. - icaiexam.icai.org, caresults.icai.org and icai.nic.in.

I'm assuming you mean that you wrote wrong question booklet number in CA Foundation Maths exam and then corrected it using a whitener and wrote the correct number over it. If this is the case, then you don't need to worry as such mistakes happen a lot among students every year and as we cannot replace the OMR sheet, the invigilators suggest to use whiteners.
It's perfectly normal and acceptable. You need not worry about anything.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has changed the exam dates for the CA Foundation 2023 December session. The CA Foundation December 2023 exam will be held on December 31, 2023, and January 2,4,6, 2024, according to the updated CA Foundation timetable. Registration for the December 2023 session of the ICAI CA Foundation is currently closed. The CA Foundation June 2023 results had already been made public by the institute on August 7, 2023. A new education and training programme has also been announced by ICAI, and it will go into effect on July 1st, 2023.
