The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India has declared the CA Foundation Jan 2025 results on March 4, 2025. The result declaration brought good news for CA Foundation students as the CA Foundation Jan 2025 pass percentage showed good improvement compared to other sessions. The CA Foundation pass percentage Jan 2025 went from 14.96% in May to 21.52% in Jan 2025. Compared to the CA Foundation Sep 2024, the pass percentage showed a slight increase of roughly 2%. The year 2024 was one of the worst years for CA Foundation students as it saw a very low pass percentage in the May 2024 session in recent years.

Here are some of the conclusions from studying the past sessions pass percentage trends of CA Foundation exam:
The CA Foundation Jan 2025 pass percentage showed significant improvement compared to the Sep 2024 and May 2024 session.
It can be concluded that students are getting familiar with the ICAI new scheme as the pass percentages of CA Foundation is moving towards stability.
The future attempts of CA Foundation might see further increase in the CA Foundation pass percentage.
Historically, CA Foundation has regularly seen fluctuations in the exam sessions with regular rise and fall in pass percentages.
On comparing male and female candidates’ pass rate, male candidates have always had higher pass percentage. However, the gap has narrowed down over the years.
