CA CPT Eligibility Criteria 2018 - ICAI (Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) has laid the minimum basic requirements, i.e. eligibility criteria of CA CPT 2018, which must be fulfilled by candidates appearing for CA CPT December session examination. In case any candidate is found in violation of CA CPT 2018 eligibility criteria, his/her candidature will be considered disqualified. CA CPT 2018 exam for December month was conducted on December 16, 2018. Candidates can fill the application form of CA CPT 2018 December session exam from October 4 till October 25 (without late fee). Further submissions were accepted till November 1, 2018 with a fee of Rs. 600. The link to apply for CA CPT 2018 is available below. ICAI has also opened the application correction window- 2 for editing any mistakes. Unlike the first window, this one charges extra fee according to the modifications made by the candidates. This correction window was available till December 7, 2018. Important Note: CA CPT exam will NOT be conducted after June 2019 session. CA CPT 2019 June session will be the last session of CPT exam. It has been decided in lieu of the introduction of new CA entry level exam, i.e. CA Foundation 2018, under revised scheme. After June 2019, CA Foundation will become the sole CA entry-level qualification examination. Until this period, both CA CPT and CA Foundation examinations will be conducted by ICAI.
Candidates who registered for CA CPT course before June 30, 2017, are eligible to fill the application form of CA CPT 2018. CA CPT Eligibility Criteria 2018
Candidates who wish to apply for CA CPT 2018 December examination are required to fulfil the following eligibility conditions of CA CPT 2018 -
Candidates must have passed in 10+2 level (Senior Secondary) qualifying examination from any national or state recognised Board of Secondary Education in India.
Candidates must have registered/switched over to Common Proficiency Course with Board of Studies of ICAI on or before June 30, 2017.
Candidates CPT registration must not have expired.
Candidates applying for CA CPT 2018 December examination must have a valid registration Id as at the time of filling the application form.
Exemption from CA CPT 2018
ICAI issues direct entry to next level course of CA i.e. intermediate courses to candidates who,
Have completed graduation or post graduation in Commerce stream with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all subjects or its equivalent from a state or nationally recognised university including open universities are exempted from CA CPT.
Candidates holding UG/PG degree in a stream other than Commerce with at least 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade from recognised University (including Open University) are exempted from CA CPT exam.
Note: Candidates whose eligibility will be found doubtful will be asked to furnish documents fulfilling eligibility requirements at least 14 days before the conduct of examination i.e. CA CPT 2018.
